Someone claiming to be from UPS and had a special delivery marked ASAP...the message I got from the first caller was Michael Scott ("The Office" maybe) and when I called the number back a man who sounded identical to the one on the message answered it as "John Doe"

Got a call from a man with a fairly heavy accent asking if I was (name) and telling me I had won a $5000.00 prize from Readers Digest.  He said I needed to validate the prize by giving some information.  When I questioned him, he revealed he was calling from Winners International for Reader's Digest and was calling from Las Vegas.  I asked for a return phone number he provided 18763759387.  I didn't recognize the area code.  I asked if he was calling from a business establishment and he answered 'not exactly'.  I heard dogs barking in the background and he said they were from the pet shop next door.  Then he revealed that a check for $5000.00 was being held for me at Bank of America and all I had to do was go to a Western Union to get a validation receipt for pickup of my package.  Then I would be escorted from my home to the bank by two armor car personnel so I could get my money.  All I had to do was have the 2% tax withheld and the balance would be mine.  I told him I'd have to call him back and he gave me a confirmation number to provide when i do call back to complete the transaction.

I do not intend to call back.
