Phone call telling me I won 2.5 million dollars

I also apparently won $2.5 million!  And a Mercedes Benz!  How neat is that?!

Got a partial voicemail -- it sounded like a machine recording but was only about a second long and I couldn't make out the words.

this person called saying I had won 2.5 million dollars. I have entered no contest. He did not say what agency he was with and it sounded as though he was in his living room. I have an unlisted number and wish no calls from people I do not know

Just got a call from this #...guy said he was with the publishers clearing house and that i had won some money and a car...i hung up and he kept calling another 3x. Total scam because after all the prizes he said i had won, he said all i would have to pay is shipping, what?!? Pay to ship my own prizes that i supposedly won...i said no then he said to get in my car with my id and checkbook alone, huh? YES, i stayed on the phone that long with this idiot...

Called to say i won money. I called back and said stop calling bc i'm reporting them. Is there any way to find out if something can be done about this number?

J, sadly, you will discover that the authorities can not/ will not do anything to solve this problem and that the "Do Not Call List" is useless in trying to combat these black stained rodents from Jamaica. It is up to us to exterminate this vermin. We must continue to be aggressive, offensive and relentless in our tactics!

I was first contacted by these filthy, little animals, when I received a call from a "John Baker" (today's call was from a chigger calling itself, "James Focker") In any event, this "John" was calling to tell me I had won 2.5 million dollars from "Mega Millions" in Las Vegas. It instructed me to get a Green Dot Money card from CVS, load it with $499.25 to pay for my "registration fees." A few days after this call, I was shocked to see this particular scam featured on ABC World News. During that segment, they played the audio of a conversation between an elderly woman - who had already sent them $85,000 - and one of these vile creatures.

Not really Funny, Been called before, this time He gave me a name, John Baker! Was on long enough to wright down some numbers like some  Bar code #, Winning ticket #, Pass Word #, 1997LA , The 1997 doesnt make any sence but I was in Lawesiana first time I was contacted on line by these scammer's, LA. also talked to a real person with some kind of voice desciser sort of like a computer but answered and responded accordingly. Have 3 other code #'s  written down but was not Quick enough to Identify what they were for . asked me how it felt to win publisher's Clearing House and my Phone when't dead. Was out of Time on phone. He tried to call 3 times after but of course I could not. saved # to plug in to online. If any of you are a little deeper into this and or some kind of computer Genious. and Might Help ! I can fix ya up with the numbers they provided me in order to narrow thing's down a little. did not get the chance to apply them, perhaps you may Have the other piece of the Puzzle.

I got a call a few minutes ago from this individual claiming that he was calling from the Baltimore Clearing house.  I said if you are calling from Baltimore, why is a Jamaican area code showing up?  He told me that he was calling from Jamaica NY- then put down the phone shortly after.  Being a Caribbean man myself, but living in USA, I could clearly hear the fake accent- a Jamaican trying to talk like an American- it was just too apparent for me to be fooled by this scamp!  (I thought I was getting a call from my Jamaican friend).

yeah, and your receiving a lot of calls from Security Services too. All those wireless installing and monitoring predatory coward calls too. Yep those Jamaicans speak some good Engish don't they? My quess is the predatory network under NCO Group that includes EGS, APAC, Protocol Global Solutions, NARS, Integrity Services Solutions and others. There might be a Jamaican connection even to NY.

Slow, drugged-sounding voice speaking very broken poor English, said I had won 2.5 million AND a Mercedes Benz E800 for a contest I entered at WalMart (ps. NO CONTEST had been entered).  It seemed important to him that I take down specific numbers, and tell him when I have gotten in my car to head home.  When I told him I already WAS AT HOME, he disconnected the call.
