The caller said he is David Johnson and  states that he is from Publishers Clearinghouse and you've won 2.5 million dollars and a new Mercedes. There is a two thousand dollar process fee and they will work with you to see how much you can pay for the processing fee. Of course, if you ask them to tell you what your name is they don't know it unless you tell them.. My husband had fun with getting all their information so others will be aware!

I received two calls:  one from 876.394.8100 and one from 876.894.1788.  I didn't answer because it said the call was from Jamaica and I don't know anyone from there.

This guy called me today said his name was Jim Waters from Publisher Clearing House and that I won $1.5 million and that all I needed to do was go to Walmart and wire $499 to claim my $2.5 million prize. Really??? I played with him for about an hour off and on making him think I was all in and then informed him that he was in violation of US Business and Commerce Code title 13 chapter 622 for sweepstake provisions. I then told him I reported his information including name, phone number and address to US Federal Law Enforcement, Federal Trade Commission and the US Department of Justice. After a short pause he asked if I still wanted my prize.

SOBs called my cell phone. They did their spiel, and I growled at them for even contacting a NO-CALL phone. He hung up faster than he called in.

DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER BACK!

    1) The call was from a scammer, trying to entice you to send money
    2) If you return the call, it will cost you money!  (Keep reading)
    3) The 876 (Island of Jamaica) prefix is VERY frequently used by scammers, and WILL cost you money if you call it back and don't have free international calling.
