Caller called and told me my phone number had won a raffle and I could claim a $35,000 cash prize and a brand new 2012 BMW which would be delivered today and that the 1% taxes had already been deducted and paid to the government and that all I had to do was to make a $3,500 purchase.

I got a call today. THe person on the other end said I had won $35000 and a brand new Honda from a drawing at Safeway or Walmart and that I had to meet him at Walmart to get delivery of the cash and car.

Caller with thick Jamaican accent informed me I had won a prize of $55,000. After a long round of entertaining double-talk designed to waste his time and annoy him (false addresses based in the netherworld, lots of hmmmm'ing, informing him that he was calling me on a device implanted into my cerebellum and that it could not yet place outgoing phone calls, asking him to increase the prize amount from $55,000 to $250,000, letting him know that I was 3.7 lightyears away from the nearest Wal*Mart but right around the block from K-Mart, etc), he then threatened to, "extort the money from me," informing me that he had access to my bank account and that he would take all the money from my account.

I played with him a little more and then he hung up. Why did my new friend hang up on me?

Caller named Ivan Philip related my phone number was randomly selected as a winner of $35K check prize with bonus $7500 cash, and a 2013 Toyota Aerion. He informed me I needed to collect my prize at Western Union. He related I needed to pay an activation fee of $299 sent to Ryan Royal of the main branch in Kingston, Jamaica before the Company in Colorado would release the money to me. He gave a Western Union Ref# or money control # 0720719388 would reflect $0 until I paid the act. fee, then it would be release to that ref# within 10 minutes. I told I don't have the $299 activation fee and ended the call.

I recieved a message this morning from a restricted number. He called himself Paul Jones said my number was randomly drawn friday to win 35,000.00 plus a 7,500.00 bonus and a 2 months worth of groceries from walmart. Said i just had to go to walmart and call him at this number 876-434-3476 and he would give me the info. And asked did i want to do it in private or did i want to be on TV when i recieved my money. He said he was from American Financial Awards. So I decided to research, didn't find anything with that so i researched the number and found this page. I asked how much i would have to pay to get my winnings he says nothing. I played along with it to see what all he said. He wants me to call him as soon as i get to walmart to get the western union. He spoke with a jamaican accent. I want to find a way to stop people like this but don't know that the police could do anything if I went and acted like i was going to go through with it and have the police there. If they are out of the country I don't think there is anything honest people here can do.

Caller says Michael White calling you in behalf of Megan, and I had won 2.5 million dollars. They left a message but I knew it was a scam and I never return the call. 876-871-3476. from Kingston Jamaica.

I had 6 miss calls on my cell telephone from876-434-3476.  He called back 1 more time and I just happen to answer.  He was saying something about UPS but I could not understand him. Is this a SCAM.
