Scam that said I won $2.5 milliondollars and they said they were out of las vegas when I asked which las vegas they are out of she could not tell me which las vegas they were from nor could you tell me what state she was in ,and then hung up on me .

.Had a missed call. Tried to call to see who it was and when they said hello I asked who it was and they hungup

Got a call from Winners International.  Wanted personal information. hung up.

Got a call just now.  My iPhone clearly showed "Jamaica" on the caller I.D.  Very heavy accent from woman on the phone.  Said she was in New York and that I had won $45,000.  I told her "Great!" and hung up.

She said she was from Las Vegas, Nevada representing the Golden Nugget. She said I won $250k and a car 2012 Honda CRV (you can choose color). Car shipping on flat bed truck from Morgan City, La. She instructed me to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a green dot money pack reloadable paper card for $4.95. Tell them it is for person use. I was to activate the money pack with $395 to cover shipping fee. Federal government would have to stamp my cash award of $250k and they would deduct 5% for taxes. I would receive the balance 95% via UPS.

Just got a call from what they called The Donald Trump and Mega Million Cash Award for Washington D.C.
She stated that I had won a Mega Million prize paid for by Mr. Trump and the Financial Freedom Award Center and all I had to do was to go to Walmart and get a GREENDOT MONEY PACK RE-LOADABLE PAPER CARD. She said I won 1.5 million from the Mega Million out of Washington D.C. I asked her how was they going to get the check to me in MN. I also asked her name and number and she said her name was (Sophia Johnson) phone number 1-876-435-2729). She also stated that it was a Financial Freedom Award. Address is Carson303 Street Las Vegas, she didn't say what state. And there was also a 2013 Mercedes Bends included in the prize. All I had to do was to go to Walmart and get that GREENDOT card so when they came to my house to pickup the card, will call the police and have them arrested. I am going to tell her when she calls back that I have the GREENDOT card of $295.00 ready for them. She also gave me a code number and I have to have this code number plus a picture ID when they arrive.

Dede,  sadly you will discover that the authorities can not/ will not do anything to solve this problem and that the "Do Not Call List" is useless in trying to combat these black stained rodents from Jamaica. It is up to us to exterminate this vermin. We must continue to be aggressive, offensive and relentless in our tactics!

You must switch them off the "Green Dot Card" variant of this scam (suggest sending a check but compromise on using a Moneygram.)  An effective counter to this version simply does not exist:  you provide the chigger with your number and the money is gone!

I was first contacted by these filthy, little animals, when I received a call from a "John Baker" (last week's call was from a chigger calling itself, "James Faulkner.") In any event, this "John" was calling to tell me I had won 2.5 million dollars from "Mega Millions" in Las Vegas. It instructed me to get a Green Dot Money card from CVS, load it with $499.25 to pay for my "registration fees." A few days after this call, I was shocked to see this particular scam featured on ABC World News. During that segment, they played the audio of a conversation between an elderly woman - who had already sent them $85,000 - and one of these vile creatures.
