Gentelman claiming to represent Publishers Clearing house in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He gave the number of 876-435-4360 for the Las Vegas Better Business Bureau.  He claimed that I had won a huge amount of money.  He wanted me to go to a Money Gram business and get a receipt for $199.00 payable to John Thompson at Villa Drive, Valrico, Florida.  The man's name is David Moore.  He has a thick foreign accent.  He claimed that his address was 303 Carson Street, Las Vegas, Nevada.  His reasoning for the Jamaica number was because they do business in Jamaica and that is how their phones are routed.

I received a call from a company claiming that they were in New York City and with Peoples Publishing Clearinghouse located at 303 Carson St.
    Las Vegas Nevada.
I was informed that I had won $2.5 million dollars, $500,000 in cash and $2 million in the form of a check. I was told to call Brinks Home Delivery and speak with Gary Williams at 1-876-824-8196 and he would deliver the package to my home at 3:00 P.M. that afternoon. I needed to give him $250.00 in the form of a western union transacation. He siad they were listed with the BBB and ?Chamber of Commerece in New York City.

Of course, i immediately gooogled and found out that the two with forein mayber even Iranian accents were scamming people of their money.

Someone called me from Las Vega claiming -I won money. Scam artist -identified themselves as Antiono Webster from Publisher's Clearing House 303 Carson Street #4 Las Vegas Nevada he said I was a big winner. Well he lied. He had my information so I believe him for awhile. Beware of 876-460-9976, 876--840-8227, 876,409-3732, 876-409-1381, 876-409-3732, 876-409-9227. They were asking to wire money to Ovanno, Barnes for Western Union and Garvin, Plummer to Money Gram. Female working with them claiming to work as Mr. Webster's secretary. Patricia Barnes who seems Hispanic descendant. When I asked her name she slipped and said Patricia Barnes. I don't think she intended to say Barnes but it came out. All active men in this scam have a Jamaican accent. The best part supposedly a FBI agent by the name Jake Wilderness work with to delivery his packages. We need to caught these Jamaican guys and lock them.

I just got off the phone with 'Mark Andrews', a man with a Jamaican accent, who said he was calling from Las Vegas. He said I won a new Black Cadillac and $2.5 million and it was there in certified check. He started to talk about getting money to register the car. I interrupted and said that with $2.5 million, after I get the check, i will simply fly out there and do it myself... Smelled scam within first 30 seconds.  They gave phone to call 775-410-0503, which I haven't called back. When I told him to not waste my time with a scam and rattled off all the ways it's done and mentioned Nigerian scams, he seemed obvilous and contined on with the obvious scam. When i told him i would not pay 1 cent to get even $2.5 million, a few seconds later he hung up. could hear others giggling in background and/or TV playing. Please don't fall for such a thing...

Hey, guys just received a call from a Mr. Byran Brown from Gold Rush International , 303 Carson St.Las Vegas, N.V. claiming that I also won 1.2 million dollars and a pearl white Mercedes Benz.  Byran gave me the office number of 1-876-288-4578 and company number of 1-876-871-3574 and a code number to claim my prize all I had to do was send $300.00 processing fee and  a $50.00 shipping and handling fee thru western union or money gram.  I did contact the Las Vegas PD fraud department 1-702-828-3111 they said this is a scam.   Police informed me that anytime money was to be exchanged or wired that it is a scam, please beware!   Police do not handle phone call scams because they can not verify the location being in Neveda even though I gave them the physical 303 Caron St. address.  Seems to me that LVMPD could go there and follow up.   Do not fall for this scam or send any money there is no Gold Rush International Company.

These guys are getting more and more clever by the day. I have received 6 phone calls from them over the course of the past 3 days. The first 2 days they used a caller ID spoofer to show a SC number (or they bought a pre paid cell phone since the number is listed as belonging to Verizon). The first day I spoke with George John Washington from the American Money Corporation and he explained that I won 5 million dollars by paying by bills on time. I asked him where he was located and he informed me he was in Las Vegas. I asked what time it was in Las Vegas and he explained that his clock was broken in his office and that his boss would not permit him to repair the clock. I asked him what the ZIP code was in Las Vegas and he explained that Las Vegas does not have a ZIP code yet. He was asking for someone named Joy Wmlas and I explained that this was not me and that Joy is a womans name (I am a man). He explained that this was ok as they could just write the check in my name as long as I gave my full name, address, and drivers license number. Throughout the call he tried to reassure me that he was a "resident" of the church so I should have no fear of him trying to scam me. I asked why he would even bring that up since I never once asked if he was a scammer. He got pretty upset and told me that I was making his head upset and then he hung up.

Yesterday I got a call from Michael Myers with the International Currency Organization. Funny thing is that he had the same phone number as the American Money Corporation. Michael Myers asked for Joy Wmlas and after hearing that I was not her once again explained that this was ok since they could just write the check to me instead. I tried to keep him on the phone as long as possible to gather as much information as I could about them. I was on the phone for close to an hour, never once revealing my name or address. Michael Myers then admitted that he got the name Michael Myers from the scary movie, then he quickly retracted that statement. I asked him basic questions like his ZIP code (he claimed to have been from Riverside California), the current time in CA (he was WAY off on that one), who the governor of CA was (I figured even Jamaicans would know the answer to this one). He got angry when I asked him who the governor of CA was and told me that he in fact was the governor of CA. After more questions and silly answers I informed him that I work as a private IT Security consultant that specializes in reporting VoIP crimes to the FBI (although I have done this in the past, its not really my specialty) and he got VERY angry, started screaming, "You think I scared of FBI?" and started threatening me. He then hung up and I thought this was the end. Until....

Today I got a call from 876-259-9531 (Kingston, JM) and was greeted by Charles Sinclair who wanted to know if they should just donate the money to charity. I told them sure. He became frustrated and told me that I had to accept the money even though it was not in my name. I told him that I was very comfortable on my own and did not need the money. Mr Sinclair then informed me that I had to take the money because he works with the FBI (gave me a badge number of 0573) at 303 Carson St in Pleasant Village, NY and that it was the law that I take the money. I told him to hold on, put the other line on speaker phone, and dialed the local FBI who answered rather quickly. I asked them to verify that Charles Sinclair worked for them. While on hold Mr Sinclair informed me that he was too busy in his office to deal with such petty things (5 million dollars is petty to an FBI salary? Wow, I'm in the wrong field!) and he hung up on me.

Long story short: Keep them on the phone as long as possible WITHOUT giving out any personal information because it costs them money; even if they have unlimited minutes or long distance they can't call and scam someone else if you're tying up their time. Play games with them by asking simple questions then sounding sincerely interested in what they're saying. Don't be overly funny otherwise they'll know that you're not falling for it, but you can get them to say some pretty funny stuff. Break up the monotony by acting slightly concerned and they will say/do just about anything to get you to believe them.

Well, Viola did not give me the same phone number that all you other guys are reporting, but she did use the same 303 Carson St., Las Vegas, NV address and a calling center number of 347-298-8374 to verify that this was not a scam.

She asked if "Charles" had been notified by America's Money Corp. of a package he was going to receive; told her there is noone by that name living here, but that didn't seem to matter as she proceeded to tell me that I was going to receive a package of $2.5 million dollars today and that I must be home to receive it.  The package was to be delivered by four people, i.e., FBI representative, a lawyer, a witness, and a representative of America's Money Corp and I had to present proof that I am an American citizen...a driver's license was sufficient.

In order for get this money, I had to buy a P14 form  for $100. from her.  I told her I did not have $100 and she said I could borrow it from someone I knew and repay them when I received my $2.5 million  Told her I did not know anyone who had $100 and she said I could pay in payments.  She asked me how much I could pay and I told her I thought I had $4.00 in my wallet.  She says that is not enough and asked me when I received my social security check; asked her what makes her think I receive a social security check and she says well, don't you.  Told her I did not know that I would have to ask my husband.  Since I could not come up with the $100, that ended my chance of getting the $2.5 mil.  The lady sounded Hispanic but spoke English very clearly.

10-28-10 I received an early morning call from someone with a "calypso" accident, gave his name as Bobbi Taylor, said he was calling from Las Vegas, Nevada, that he was (associated with) publishers clearing house, and I had won a cashiers check for 1.5 Million Dollars, plus $250,000.00 cash. He said they have been approved by the FBI and The Chamber of commerse. All I have to do is go to Western Union and send $499.95 to Richard West, an IRS Rep at 173 High Street, Bridgeport, Ohio 43912, and I'd have a check delivered today that I could take to a bank for 1.5 Million dollars, and $250,000.00 in cash, and my $499.95. He gave me his number, just before we were disconnected. I used the number he gave me and got him back on the phone, and told him I would have to discuss this with my husband. I then contacted my local police, and they advised me this was a scam, and they have had several reports that were similar. Meanwhile my husband had gone on line searching Nevada scams and found these reports, similar to my experience. BE WARY.

My husband received a phone call this morning from a 'Peter' claiming he was from Publishers Clearing House and had a Fed Ex package for him to sign for. 'Peter' stated he was from Wash DC, Maryland (DC is no longer a part of Maryland...) and requested his driver's license number (which my husband did not give). After 'Peter' asked a few more questions (which my husband did not answer), my husband hung up. 'Peter' called directly back and left the number 1.876.379.3723 to call him back. His accent sounded either Jamacian or Indian...the phone connection was very poor to tell exactly.

I have been getting calls from a man with a heavy Jamaican accent saying his name is David Washington saying he was calling from Publishers Clearing house at 303 Carson St, Las Vegas, NV.  Mr. Washington called claiming I have won $850,000.  However to get the check I have to send a money order for $350 to a man named Davon Scott in Miami.  I asked him how I had won since I haven't entered any drawing.  He told me they randomly select names if you spend more than $20 at Walmart or the grocery store.  I kept asking questions, and he just kept making [***] up so I refused to listen to his answers unless they were straight yes or no.  He had a hard time with that,  I kept asking for the phone number so I could speak with someone from Publishers Clearing house.  He gave me a number to Florida and another Jamaican saying he was in the check processing department for PCH.  When I asked to speak to his boss he said he wasn't in.  So I kept asking finally he put me on hold for a minute and a man who sounded exactly like the first one answered saying he was the boss.  I hung up, and Mr Washington called me back.  I told him to try calling my neighbor because he is very gullible.

I finally found a number to PCH, and they actually have a selection for scam calls.  And after reading all of these post I  am realizing this happens all the time.  If you goolge 303 CARSON STREET #4 LAS VEGAS NEVADA, the first link that comes up is this one.  Maybe they should start giving a different address.

I had a similar phone call like that this morning, he called me around 7:35am. His name was James Gordon or Gordy whatever. He called from 876 505 0915, saying that I won 1.2 million dollars and a pure black Mercedes Benz. Immediately I chuckled because I knew what this was a scam if I ever smelled one. So I decided to entertain the stupid-ness.
He asked me was I Ms. Jackson, and I advised him that I was. He then asked me did a stay at a former address that I haven't lived at in about 2yrs. I told him yes, because there was no way I was going to give him my current address. As he started prying for personal information, I asked him who he was again and he told me that he was calling from NY at that 303 Carson, then I asked him again, who he was then he realized I was asking him for his name and he told me again. I asked what company he was calling from, he hesitantly said FedEx. I then chuckled again. He asked me if I was going to be home on Dec 18th because that is when the check and the car will be delivered to my home, I said yes because I no longer live at the address that he said in the beginning, not to mention, one of his questions was do I own a home but if he had my previous address he would realize these were apartments that I use to live in. So I continued to entertain the [***]-ness which was this phone call until I got to work. He told me before I receive the check that the IRS cleared and bla bla bla, I would have to pay shipping and handling fees, once again I chuckled, I asked him how much he said 1700.00 but as a senior citizen I would receive a discount of 300.00.

I then advised him that I am not a senior citizen, he then said in a questionable yet confused voice "you're not?" Then he proceeded to explain to me the ages of a senior citizen which was 55+ and from 35-45 that would make me middle age. So I asked him what would the age 46-54 be? he said a senior, so needless the said I kept on messing with this [***] until I got tired of him. I told him that was 35+ years and this SCREAMS SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! I advised him that if he calls my phone again I will curse his ass to the high heavens and report him to the international police investigations and hung up.
He had the audacity to call back 5 more times after that, so the last time he called I cursed his ass out to the high heavens and he haven't call me back since as of today.
