- BillP| 141 repliesComplete SCAM - Caller ID showed a Cell phone as the source. Caller, with strong Jamaican accent, said he was from American Cash Awards Payout Services. I won $2.5M and a 2009 Mercedes. I had to wire $750 (I said that was high so he lowered it to $400 - nice guy).
He told me to go to Wallmart and Western Union the money to Kemmar Fray at Montego Bay, Jamaica. Hurry Hurry.
He just called back - I hadn't left yet. He seemed concerned, but I told him I was almost out the door. He will follow up in about an hour. I'm sure he will be slightly disappointed that I didn't make it to Wallmart- Caller: American Cash Awards (Fake)

- JenniferHas anyone had a call asking for money to be sent to Gregory Bowen, Montego Bay, Jamaica? My grandmother has received this call several times, trying to convince her that this is a scam. Called ID says Private Number.
- not going to fall for itMy disabled mother has recieved several calls from American cash award giveaway. First they claimed she won 1.5 million and all she had to do was pay shipping and handeling costs of $550, then they would send a team to her house to give her the prize and at that time they would reimberse her for the fees. She has spoke to at least 3 different people (all with very thick accents). I told her to have them call me so I could get more info. When they called me they told me my mom won 8.5 million dollars and a C-class Mercedes worth $48000. When I told him $550 was too much he said that if we didn't want the prize they could donate it to charity for $400.
They claim they're out of Las Vegas. They gave me a Buisness license # of BB684135. When I called 876-430-0817 I spoke with a man nambed Steve who claimed he was CEO of the company. He said his address was 1101 West Charles St, Las Vegas.- Caller: American Cash Award Give away

- Gmaof3My phone number was 1-876-435-6634 but the heavely accented man was David Clark. I was to sent $323.39 to Fitzroy Martin, 12 King Street, Montego Bay, Jamica, WI. I was to go to Wal-Mart and wire the money NOW because the courier was waiting to leave with my winnings. I called the BBB and they said it was a scam and the Western Union would not send money to Jamica. When "David" called back he was very up set and said he would make a call and check in to the problem. He quickly called back and said that they were not sending money out of the US at this time because of the economy. I was to go to a Western Union office and wire the money to Ruby Nash in Monroe LA and hurry because the courier had already left for the airport. I called Western Union and they said it was a scam and not to send money to anyone I did not already know and I gave them all the information to allert their system. "David" said to just tell them I did know Ruby. When I told him I though this was a scam from the begining, he said he was a christian and would not do such a thing. Didn't I wast my award? What is the reward for sending $323.29 to a black hole? I could really use the money - who couldn't? Hey I only won $1.5 mil and no car what's the deal here? Oh yea, he said I had won second prise. Big woop. This kind of **** is sooo wrong. I just wish he could be cought. By the way as of the last 24hrs. he has called my home and cell 38 times EACH. Thank God for caller ID and for keeping me safe.

- tlen| 1 replyI began receiving the calls today from 876-568-5024. I told him (Anthony or Bill Collins) to quit scamming me. He has called back four times, even left a voicemail. I was to pay $800 to have my winnings of $550,000 wired to my bank or paying for shipping and handling to have the check sent. Even better he told me to not tell people about this because they 'could have me killed or chopped into little pieces in order to steal the money.' These people are VERY persistent and quite unbelievable. They call back even when I tell them I know they are trying to scam me!

How do these people get past the "do not call" lists? - 876-429-5615| 3 repliesA "Jonathan Reed" from a supposed law firm out of Brooklyn named Jacobsen Meyer called today claiming I had won 2.5 million dollars. He used the word "axe" instead of "ask", some lawyer. He was persistent and a bit rude once I began asking questions. He said call 876-429-5615 and ask for an AJ Turner to claim my prize. I had some fun with this guy from "American Cash Awards".
