Was told I had won a car and a check from Publishers clearing house.

Randomly called about something, couldnt understand them but seemed sketch.

Yup - Was told I won 2nd place publisher's clearing house prize and a new car.  Phone disconnected before I could figure out what the scam was.

Jamaican scammers.  Report them to the FTC.

Was told I won 2nd place in Publisher's Clearing House and a Mercedes Benz

I just got the same call claiming they were from punlisher's clearing house and they said i had to call 1-876-475-2523 ext 9 and they gave me a code. I think that if i called that number i would probably be charged an outragous amount of money. Stay away from these guys is your best bet.

My grandmother got this call on her cell phone and told her she won 955,000 dollars from the publishers clearing house and to call 1-876-475-2523 ext. 7 and talk to James Holly who is the "manager"

The initial call from this number advised they were from Publishers Clearinghouse.  When I advised them I had not signed up and was not interested, the phone call became obscene and vulgar.   I hung up and they called back 4 times.  Finally turned the phone off.  

Call saying something about if I signed up for publishers clearinghouse said no he hung up. Called the #back and told them not to call again and he starting cussing and threatened to come kill me. Wtf
