Calls from SCAMMERS located in Kingston, Jamaica......
AVOID if at all possible!
They are bad news
DO NOT call them back! Areacode 876 is NOT "Toll Free" and can actually be VERY costly!!!!

This man called me several times threatening me and telling me to follow his directions.  I asked him not to call but he kept calling back.

Actually a voice on the line, which is unusual.  Rascal called my cel 3 times in a row.  On the third time I picked up.  I told him this number was on the register and I am hanging up.  Got to be a scam from Jamaica.

I answered the phone when I saw it was from Jamaica, mostly out of curiosity.  The Jamaican man was very demanding, asking me several times to call him back, and pushing me to be more interested in his $45,000 money offer.  I told him several times very politely that I was going to hang up and not to solicit me.  I told him that I was not going to talk to him and that I would not be calling him back.  He continued to press, and then I hung up.  He called back twice, to which I declined the call.  I am unable to place a complaint on the National Do Not Call Registry because they are international and the area code is not recognized.

Just tell the party that you know its a scam and you are sending the information to your local police department or interpol. Its that simple.

A received a call from a man claiming to be John Peterson. He told me he was from Jamaica and later said he was from NC, later said Jamaica. He claimed to be a government official and said I had signed up at CVS or Wal-Greens and had won $3.5 million and all I had to do was go to CVS and purchase a green-dot money pack scratch off card for $295. I would then call him and give him the code. He would show up with a US marshall at my door personally. Then UPS would deliver it. All I had to do was wait after giving him the code. I knew it was a scam so, I questioned him and finally told him I knew this was a scam and I was going to report him to the authorities. He became angry and hung up. He called me back and asked if I had ever had a big black d### in my p####.I was shocked and told my husband who took the phone and called him an sob. I have received no more calls yet. I looked up another number he gave me to call which is (866) 996-5997. This is another scammer who poses as publisher's clearing house or the lottery by the name of John Anderson. I want others to be aware of this and not become a victim of scam.

Next time you get one of these calls, tell them they need to "western union" you $50. for cab fare, & fee for your Wire transfer to them. Should be fun!

I also recieved a call from this number back in June, he stated that his name was John Peterson and he was with the Wal-mart company of the United States. He said I had won 5 million dollars and a 2012 Mercedes Bend. All I had to do to calm this prize was to buy a green dot card from either walgreens or wal-Mary(which ever one was closest. I then called my local police department and told them that someone was calling trying to run a scam. The officers told them man not to call back and hung up. This time the man called back threating to hunt me down and kill me and that even if I was to get my number changed he would still call. He has called 3 times after that. But I didn't answer. Hopefully he will get the point eventually

I just received the same call, I told the guy they didn't have the so called card he talked about then told him that I researched the number and it was known for scams and I wasn't interested and hung up on him. He offered me 360,000 dollars and a 2013 Mercedes.

I just received a call from that number, but whenever I don't recognize the number, I always answer with "This is Batman". He paused for a while, then tried to confirm my name, so I repeated, "This is Batman".  He then proceeded and asked me if I think WalMart is the greatest grocery store, but I told him:  I don't shop there for groceries, so I don't know.  He then paused again and told me I won $400,000 and a 2013 Corvette.  I told him, "That's great, but I don't need the money, I'm set for life.  Give it to charity."  Then I hung up.  He hasn't called back.
