I have been getting several phone calls from 876-575-8516 stating that I won a Mercedes Benz and $100,000.  My boyfriend answers the phone and the person asks for me.  When he tells them I am not there he hangs up.  I tried to call the number back which may not have been the best idea in the world.  The following day they called back.  This time I was home.  I asked the man where he was calling from and he said "Global winners enterprise." The man asked me to verify my information and I said "no, you tell me who you are and stop calling me."  This person proceeded to curse and scream at me.  He called me every profanity he could think of.  He told me that he and his "maniacs" were going to come and blow me up.  He sounded Indian.  He eventually hung up on me.  I called the police and made a police report and then I called my phone company and had the number blocked.  I am pretty sure that it is a scam.  Do not accept calls from this number and DO NOT give them your personal information!!!!

Caller (Harry Fortuna) claimed I had won 1.2 Million and needed $462.00 to relase the funds. I kept him on the phone as long as I could while I researched his company ... "Winners Payout International". He claimed he was affiliated with Reader's Digest and was calling from Las Vegas. A reverse look-up placed the call coming from Jamaca.

When I first got the call from Global Winners Enterprise I was curious about the prize the caller said I won.  I did give some personal information. The prize was 1.5 million and a Mercedes Benz.  After giving a 150.00 on a prepaid card I talked to a friend that looked the company on the internet and gave me the number to a credit bureau  I continued to get support from family and friends to take the necessary steps to protect myself and report fraud alerts.
