My Father got a call from this number with a man saying his name was "Tony Edwards".  Very thick accent, extremely hard to understand.  I talked to him and he said my Father had entered a contest and had won 2.5 million dollars.  He needed to verfiy some information and then have my Dad send $500 to claim his prize.  When I tried to talk to someone else and get all the information I could he just gave me the run aroud.

my mother received a phone call from a man with a strong Jamaican accent, saying she had one 2 and a half million dollars, and all she needed to do was pay $350 for "processing" fees. He said he was with the US Claims Dept. When she told him she did not have the money, he said she could pay by credit card. When she said she didn't even have that much on her credit card, he said she could call the cc company and tell them she was closing the account and would be paying it off in full....he then told her he would make sure the money was put in her bank account and the card would be paid off immediately. I told her to have him call me so I could get more info and when he did, the " came up as a 'Jamaica' call and I could actually hear chickens in the background!!! When I asked for more info, he gave me these two numbers to call: the first supposedly the # of the bank where the account the money would come from is, and the second, supposedly the # for the US Claims Dept. (876)568-5605/(702)347-8640.
He called my mom back AGAIN and said he was a Christian man and would NEVER scam or mislead anyone and knew that she could really use this money. He said he'd even be willing to wait until the first of the month when she got her Social Security check and she could pay him from that!
This is SICK! They get up her hopes, thinking she wouldn't have to struggle month to month and prey on her faith to lure her in. Something needs to be done!!!!!

got a call from a forigner named mike mcdonald, yea right. i won 3.5 million at walmart. ive never been to wallmart but i let him think i did. did a google search before i call his verification number which is 8765871461. tough times right now. nice try but maybe next time.

Just got the same call and I too have nevr been in a Walmart! He said he was going to call me back in 10 minutes after he speaks to his associates but I am still waiting... When I said "Are you kiddin?"  he then said, "hey lady, do you think I'm pulling your legs" LOL, real professional!  That Mike McDonald sure gets around!!!

I just got a call just like the one you are talking about. His name was David Brooks, from Golden Eagle. I won one Million $, and a Mercedes, To be delivered today. WOW Bring it on. I said I was on SS and could not afford the $350.00... When do you get your check ? The first of the month. Could you send $100.00 now? No. How many prises were awarded ? he said that there were 5 left.He would take anything, then he would be sure that I got my winnings..    Let me call you back, someone is on the other line.  He gave me this # 876-587-3452.. I wanted to check out the # and Name of the Co. He said it was in Miami Fl.. Cant find the Co. But came across this. I am not on SS but feel for the Millions that are. I am sure that some could be  persuaded to take them up on this scam.

Same caller...just tell them to kiss your a$$!  It's all a scam!!
