March 22, 2011 -  A man with a thick island or African accent called, said his name was James Brown from Publishers Clearing House and I had just won $250,000 and a new car. He wondered if I wanted a public (televised) or private delivery of my prizes.  He then gave me the name of a lawyer (Cynthia Madison of Williamsburg, Kentucky) and instructed me to go to my nearest WalMart or KMart where there was a Western Union office.  I was instructed to call him at 1-876-856-7303 when I arrived there.  After hanging up he called back and reminded me that I would need to purchase a receipt from Western Union in the amount of $499 so my prizes could be delivered today.  I immediately got into my car and headed to my bank to withdraw the $499 and get right over to WalMart....NOT!  Really, I called the sheriff's department. There's little that can be done except to share this experience with you all.  This number is associated with the country of Jamaica and is usually one of those numbers that if you call back you will have a lot of unauthorized long distance charges on your phone.  So don't call it back, even though it might be fun to mess with them, it's not worth it.

They have many different numbers all starting with the (201) area code. I will report all of their numbers. This harassers will continue to call multiple times a day every day, when you answer you will hear music and a recording asking you to please hold, when someone finally answers they yell "hello" as if you just called them, then a rude ignorant trashy sounding female will proceed to pretend she's looking for someone at your number by a fake name or by various fake names whenever you answer the call. She will yell at you and try to argue with you when you tell her that she has the wrong number-to take your name off their calling list and do not call back. They harass and keep calling. World Peace more than likely they are using Magic Jack..I have learned alot of them are starting to call from magic jack numbers so people will not think they are calling from Jamaica!!!..I am glad you are reporting the numbers...Please alert everyone you know and your local tv station so they can get the word out in your area as well so they do not become a victim!!

This phone number calls a legitimate company and sometimes identifies herself as Mary. She orders items, but then send a cheque for ore that the amount looking for the victim to send back the difference before the victim realizes the original cheque is a fake.  Typical overpayment scam.  Don't be fooled.  Number is:

Received a call from this number  443) 303-3212 cellphone registered in Aberdeen, MD, female named Jennifer stated that I won a new iPad but they needed my age. Told the female cow that I was 15 years old and the heifer hung up. (443) 303-3212

Was selling An item on Craig's łist and someone texted right away wanting to send me a certified check along with enough for shipping claimed his name was "Bruce Michael"  was using two numbers claimed one was his wife's. 1303-632-9383 and 1-248-392-2839 certified check never did arrive and didn't hear anymore from him because he said he would send trAcking number when he got it and I texted ack and said that's strange I always get tracking number when I payed for what I sent not the day it was to be delivered

Stupid Jamaican called and tried to get me and I played the game with him but knew it was a scammer
