Contact received on 5-5-11 at approximately 4:00pm. The caller identified himself as John Brady with Winners International Services...he reported me to be the recipient of the first prize $500,000.00. He stated that my name and zip code had been entered into an international drawing. This he further exaggerated was based on my making purchases at Walmart, Walgreens, paying my bills on time, and using my debit card.

He needed to gather information to ensure it was me...age, marital status, where all finances mine (FLAG), did I still live at my address (he read off my former address)...I SAID NO. He paused and asked for my current address where the money could be delivered...NOT MINE! At this point, I offered a public address where I had access. He stated that 99% of all taxes had been taken care of and in order to receive it...I NEEDED TO PURCHASE A RECEIPT FROM WESTERN UNION! He suggested it would cost me $99 and then he would send out the people with the check. The purpose for the RECEIPT was so that the money would be delivered and guarantee that it would be registered in my state where I would pay the 1%...AND to verify it was not $ laundering or terrorist money! He further clarified that they were a part of the Mega Million Sweepstakes!

Upon accessing the internet...the number was a Jamican based Land Line Number...AND I discovered that this was a similar number...area code...where VERY similar stories are found and they are SCAMS! A follow up call was received at 4:27pm.

This same "John Brady" left a message on my phone saying he was from the U.S. Treasury and was trying to deliver a prize money. Jamaican area code. Forget it. Scammer.
