- Bobbie Ballenger| 1 replyclaimed to be from Publishers clearing house...we won a prize but had to go purchase a government relief card at dollar general in order to receive the money. was very difficult to understand....asked them to resend the paperwork and they refused stating they had already sent it. upon still having trouble understanding the person with their accent asked to speak to someone different.. given a phone number to call back with a ext. upon calling that number the person would not transfer that call to that ext and then proceeded to be very ignorant about things....saying I sounded poor...do not call his company back....stupid of him since he does not know who he called....
- Caller: publishers clearing house

* If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
* You have not won big bucks from PCH or a grant from the government <<<<<<<<<
* The tooth fairy really does not exist
* Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
* It is illegal to pay money for a loan, BEFORE getting the loan!
* "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
* Microsoft did NOT call you to fix your computer.
* The moon is not made of green cheese.
* The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
* Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
* If you "green dot" or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone. - EricI can barely understand what the guy is saying. I was able to picked up only words like "Mercedes" or "$600,000". I went ahead and hang up on him.
- Call type: Prank
- George replies to Cindy HumphreyI won too. Same amount. Without Mercedes.
- DS replies to Cindy Humphrey| 2 repliesthe caller wants you to say "yes". I think they are recording it to do a scam. They say they are from publishing clearinghouse and that I won. Then he says "are you happy?" he keeps saying open end questions that will be answered with a "yes" as a response. I kept saying, "you are a scam and do not call here."
- DS replies to DS| 1 replyFrom what I understand that is going around, they try to record you saying "yes" then they open up a new credit card under your name and to verify, they are asked if you approve opening this new account, and this is when they play the "yes" that they recorded of your voice. Don't play with these guys. hang up and report them.
- Adriana replies to DSI just recived 5 calls from This number and of curse i said NO
- T replies to Cindy HumphreyJust received the same call stating that they were PCH and had won 925,000.00 and a new car that the crew would be Steve Harvey and they were blocks away. Something needs to be done about these sorry crooks their nothing but scammers and they need to learn how to speak English better if their going to be calling people awarding money. I would like to meet the sorry pieces of [***] in person with my barking dog with no legs named Mossberg!
- Julie| 1 replyMy phone indicated that the number was from Jamaica. I could barely understand the guy; he said he was with Publisher's Clearinghouse and I'd heard the name before, but couldn't remember where. Then he said "lottery." I've never played the lottery but have received the TN Lottery Hope scholarship and that's when I recognized the name. So I asked if this was about the scholarship and he just sounded confused. Then I could finally make out that he was saying something about winning the lottery and a car and realized it was just another POS scammer. I was surprised it was an actual person; I'm used to every scam call being a robocaller (no, I don't care about my car's extended warranty!). I finally hung up.
