Referred me to CertifiedNotice.com. Left a messag eon my machine which said, in part, that by staying on the line you are certifying that you are the party they are trying to contact. Gosh, I guess my answering machine should have hung up immediately!

Went to the site and entered the numbe, and no account was found. Probably a collection agency, and apparently not a very good one.

I got a call exactly as gordon mentions. My account was not found. I certainly hope it isn't a collections agency, I'm not aware that I owe anyone! My guess was telemarketer.

I received a call today from an unknown number (same as gordon, but i happened to pick it up!) saying it was an important business matter from certified notice, telling me to go to certifiednotice.com and left me a file number, but my phone dropped the call and i dont have the number so i dont know if it's legit or not, prob not.

I received the same call at 8:40 am. I listened to my voice message and looked up certified notice 1st before anything. I will not be calling them or getting on line with them thanks for the info. 800-708-6019

Got the same thing on my cell.  Don't owe anyone money that I know of and the when I went to the site I entered the information and got the reply that there was no account found.  I find it interesting that this started happening to all of us in the last week.  Also, there seems to be some indication that their .com address should have expired, but maybe they paid for it and it's still good.

I would like for the phone call come to a stop, from this 1-877-289-0281, so I can finally get some rest from these harassing phone day in and out nite after nite at my age and a senior to, they seem to pick senor citizen the most sent 4/24/2008.

I got the same call today and both my husband and myself have credit above 760, with no outstanding debt at all. Very weird phone call and they definitely need to be reported!!!

I'm getting the same thing and I didn't respond to it for about a month, but finally went to the website to see who certifiednotice.com is...there isn't an ABOUT section for the company or anything so it must be a scam. If no one can tell you, then I would watch out.

same as the others who got calls from 877 number. My account was not found and the calls do not stop .I am not aware of anone I owe so probably telemarketer And # given is diconnected.

I experienced the same thing as everyone else but from a different number - 8007086019. After answering the call this morning to try and talk to someone and still only getting that recording I decided to call back and as someone else said, spoke with a very rude lady. After that I found this website and have had my thoughts of scamming confirmed. I found on my cell phone carriers website the unlawfulness of these calls and just filled out a complaint report at the Federal Communications Comission website. (It's the first up if you google it). It only took a couple minutes and I got a reference number to check how the case progresses. I recommend you folks do the same.
