The call is from virgin mobile collections. The call me asking if I am going to top up my pay as you go cell phone.

I picked up and heard the same message "this is an important message, please hold", then it switches and say it again, then it switches and says it again, then it hangs up.  Have now gotten the same call multiple times today.

When I call this number back, I get some sort of orthopedic surgery place...  It's really weird, and kinda sketchy...

I got a call from this number claiming to be a collection agency and that I owed 4 times my regular phone bill past due, and it is NOT past due, not even overdue!! BE CAREFUL and do NOT give them your information- could be a scam!! They were very rude and persistent and insisted that they log into my account instead of me, which I did not allow and hung up on them to confirm my real information.

same call, every day, nobody there. I now just mute the call... the loosers !

I keep missing calls from this number everyday and a few others, it's some scam. I googled all the numbers and they all come up with warnings about a telephone scam. Im not answering if I don't know the number from now on.

i needed to change my bill, because they overcharged me and they told me to expect a call from the billing address. and this number just called. I missed it so i assume thats what it is. so im suprised to hear so many f you saying that its a scam because i was told by virgin straight up to wait for their call to fix my bill. odd.

Yeah why are you guys saying it's a scam?  I just had an unknown call me and I was curious who it was (I don't answer unknown calls) so I googled this... Well I called them back and all it was was that my address hadn't been changed and mail was going back to them.

So people before you start saying it's a SCAM make sure you typed in the right phone number.

This is Virgin Mobile Collections Department.  They are usually calling to ensure you got your bill and to remind you that it is due and to see if they can assist you.  They are always nice.

This place must be a scam because they called me and and said I owed for a virgin mobile account which I don't even have a virgin phone and then I got switched over to someone else to figure out why they say I have an account then the sketchy chick I talked to said they weren't calling about a virgin phone she they were calling about a 407 bill...then because I said I wasn't paying a bill that wasn't mine the chick hung up on me...real professional...man they are [***]

I was getting many calls a day from this number, for the overdue account of a relative in another city, with Virgin Mobile. However, sometimes no-one was there, and if I called there, I would get empty space. But by the awful things the last person said (such as, why was my relative not living with me if they were homeless?) really made me angry, so I wrote Virgin a very nasty letter about harassment.

While I have not heard back from them, today just after 7:00 a.m. I received a call from iQor, the collection agency Virgin uses. I wrote a stringent letter to them, and hope not to hear from them again.

What I finally did to stop these calls from annoying me was I saved them under their names in Caller ID, then set their tones to 'silent ring'. That way I could document the number of times these people were phoning me and cite that in my documentation to the Ministry of Consumer Services, should that be necessary.

Yah they call me like 5 times a day..its creepy I dont answer I only owe virigin 86 dollars like they need to relax!

Yea, it's Virgin collections. My wife and I both received calls from this number today since we forgot to pay our bills before going on vacation all last week. It is odd though that no one was there when we picked up... Had to google the number to find out what it was.

But for those complaining about getting 5 calls a day, maybe pay your bill and they'll stop calling. Doesn't matter that you *only* owe them $86 or whatever, you signed a contract. Pay up, or put up with the calls.

its a scam.. anyone telling you otherwise is part of the scam.. they 're trying to get your info and use it. virgin mobile wouldnt call a pre paid customer 5x a day who is fully paid to solicit them for more top ups. its a group preying on virgin mobile customers.
