Lady left message stating this was a courtesy call regarding a check written from my checking account for the amount of $9,911 and they wanted to verify funds would be available in my account on July 31.  If they don't hear back from me, they will assume the funds are available and cash the check.  She left phone number 877-211-9178 and included a reference number. I have informed my bank of this "scam" and instructed them not to allow any such withdrawal from my account.

Lady called to say that I needed to call to contact her asap, about putting an attachment onto my property.
She gave this number and a ref #.

7/19/11 they said they were attempting to collect a dept on behalf of Citi Bank. Didn't leve a name of there company or a name of whom was calling just a reffence number.  They can't be calling for citi bank since I have been paying it for 3 1/2 hrs and it will be paid off in Febuary.
