Scammers have been posting fake ads in craigslist claiming to offer jobs for extras (background players) in movies. When you call this number, you are directed to one of two websites that charge for what turn out to be outdated casting lists.

From a craigslist post in Dallas:
"They claim to have active needs, but really just want you to sign up for $1.99 for one week, then the auto-renew of $39/month."

Casting360.com and Talent6.com are the same company, and both are a well known Advance Fee job scam. There are literally hundreds of online complaints and as many Better Business Bureau complaints.

The Los Angeles BBB as well as the National BBB give Casting360 and Talent6 an "F" rating. The LA BBB actually calls Talent6 a scam on the main website.

Casting360 and Talent6 are operated out of Moldova, a small former Soviet republic known today as a haven for credit card and identity theft.  Though Talent6 has a small administrative office in the US to comply with US incorporation rules, 100% of the operation is in Moldova, including the "Casting Agent" you spoke with.

In May 2010, Talent6 aka Casting360 was fined by the San Mateo, CA District Attorney $45,000 for false advertising, misleading ads and fraud.

I do not dispute that Talent6 and Casting360 are connected. Igor Reiant is the CEO of Talent6 and the Managing Partner for Casting360 . However, they are two separate companies. I am disputing the other information that you wrote; you seem to have taken the information from other websites. Including false information in your posting does not help consumers.I am not defending Talent6 or Casting360; they may be bad businesses. What is very odd about Talent6 is that the web address in the BBB listing, http://www.talent6.com, took me to a site for NoCancer that asks for donations. The donation button took me to the website for the National Breast Cancer Foundation that has a 4-star rating with Charity Navigator. I checked on the Charity Navigator website. I do not see why the NBCF would be using the Talent6 URL.
I have thoroughly researched and the following is the correct information about Talent6 and Casting360.
Talent6 is located in San Bruno, CA. Casting360 is located in San Francisco. I checked the BBB site and BBB has Casting360 rated A-. Talent6 is not rated by the BBB. Neither of the companies are a BBB accredited business. There are no complaints about Talent6 filed with BBB in the last 3 years. There have been 118 complaints filed with BBB against Casting360 in the last 3 years; all of the complaints have been resolved.
Alternate names of the Casting360 are Casting Dynamics, LLC and Kidscasting.com. The alternate names for Talent6 are Search for Talent, Talent 360, and Casting Talent Network.
BBB does not list 877-219-4739 or 877-590-5505 as Casting360's phone numbers. They list:

The BBB lists only one phone number, a fax number, for Talent6. It is (415) 276-8953.

The official court record of the complaint filed May 10, 2010 in San Mateo County shows the case as dismissed on 2/4/2011. No fine was charged. The defendants were Casting Talent Network, Inc., an alternate name for Talent6, and Igor Reiant. The case number is CIV49490. If you search by company name, enter Talent 6, not Talent6.

Only a shill would show up and try to misdirect complaints and pretend ALL complaints have been resolved to the satisfaction of the complaintants.

We know the rot starts at the top.

The reason for changing talent6.com to a salesfront for a charity site is to try to escape a bad reputation associated with that url without losing it, or parking it.
