This number keeps leaving recorded message at my work with a reference number. When I call back the phone just ring . Do anyone have ideas how to stop the calls ? I have no idea what this is about. Oh yeah! Message mention a claim suppose I filed.

After hours robo-greeter says they're Allied Assets (or at least that's what it sounds like).

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.   Sounds like a debt collector.

Thanks for your advice. It could be a collection but it sounds more like thier claiming I filed some claim which I never did. Also, these people are attempting to reach me on my work phone so I'm not sure how to block the calls. I think they were able to get my info. From the internet .

Scam artist. They call claiming you owe debt on a loan and if you don't pay a specified amount, they'll take you to court and get a judgment for a much larger amount. Totally bogus.

This is a scam. They are calling everyone in our family. They know my SSN and how convenient they knew the exact day after my Bankruptcy was discharged??? They are claiming a $2000 debt owed to a bogus company I do not recognize and that we can do a one-time payment or two payment program (Do you understand?), otherwise going to court. Interesting no paperwork follow through prior to the phone calls. Tried to give them lawyers phone number they didnt want that. Do not pay them it is not valid!! Block this caller from your phone!

The left an automated message for my son who died over five years ago.  Said anyone else should hang up immediately, so I suspect it is a debt collector or debt collector scam.  Pennsylvania statute of limitations on debt is four years, so they're really hit a wall on this one if they're a debt collector.

Today on my cell phone I received 4 phone calls 2 I missed from phone number 1-877-228-9156, I answered the call the guy told me that he was from Allied collection agency and that he was calling on behalf of laser pay day loan he named me by my maiden name I have not use nor acknowledged   in 17 years he also knew my social security number told me to hold all questions until he was finished hen he was done I began questioning him about the pay day loan ect he began screaming to the top of his lungs and threatened me with taking me to court if I didn't settle the $455.00 I owed on the pay day loan I took out , I tried to talk several times he would not allow me to do so and kept screaming so I hung up on him , he then in turn called back threatening me again so I looked up the companies names he had given me Laser Pay Day Loan is a SCAM Please do not give any information and hang up ..............

This placed called me claiming I owe a loan from Jan 2013 listing an address that I hadn't lived at since 2010 and a work place that I haven't work for since 2008.  Said legal matter.  I asked who did I owe to and they said they couldn't tell me but they wanted my information.  I have never defaulted on a loan so they can come after me if it is ligit.

They called saying I took out a loan from cornerstone funny no company's by that name if I didn't pay 400 they would sue for 2000 I asked for paperwork and she said there is none unless I go to court

Same exact thing happen to me.

They must be on the roll.  I received several calls from Allied Assets including a voice mail with a claim number for me to call about. When I didn't call fast enough, they actually located my elderly mother to try to find me. When I called, I was told I had a debt from 2011 and same thing -- it was for $400 but I would need to pay either $600 or $2620 depending on a payment plan. I was told the company I had a debt with is Vince Enterprises and the website given to me turned out to be a legitimate company that I have contacted. The guy I spoke with claimed to be Jamie Martinez.

Actually their website that they gave me is not legit. It is a scam too. It is for a fake IT company and says things like making "cash cow" and "the devil is in the details." The site is not interactive. The employees are in different countries. It's www.alliedassets.net. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in my state and am filing a police report as well.

This number is continuely calling everyday and all day.
