- madratWell it said it was some sort of town hall meeting. Talked about walmart, some book maker, and some movie about a black family in 1963 moving to Birmingham.
I was like wtf did I get this kind of call for.
I hate walmart, I don't read as unless its on my computer, and I sure don't give a rats rear end about events in 1963 in Birmingham. We need to move past all that it is 2013, and we don't need films that will incite more racial problems.- Caller: i don't know

- Don't care| 1 replySome congress called the business phone and left this number that they are going to call in the evening for townhall. I don't know the congress and they called on business. I will not answer the call since I won't be in the office that time and there is absolutely no way I am sitting and listening to the conversation that whatever congress is speaking!! I'm reporting to FCC!!

- AnonymousLeft a message about town hall meeting this evening. Since they called the business phone and I don't live in this area anyway but who would answer the call and listening to town hall meeting with the congress over the phone? Mind as well just go to town hall!

- Andre replies to Don't careI normally don't reply to this site but it's town hall meeting which you can ask a question for the congress. It's for people who want to listen in town hall meeting. It's completely optional and you don't have to answer the call if you choose not to. Some politicians do this for convenience for people who can't go to the town hall. I just ignore it if I'm not interested in it and it doesn't show caller ID.
- sfr| 1 replyGot a voice mail from 1-303-512-4499 from CO ST GOVT at 7:25 pm. Message said something about a town hall meeting and some CDOT plan. It said to call 1-877-229-8493 if I wanted to participate and add my opinion. Sounded pretty legitimate but I don't appreciate "business" calls that don't come in during business hours. If this was legit, it's an intrusive way to reach the public. I blocked the number.

- VeonIt is a phone conference call from my Senator in Washington D.C. I had contacted him via his .gov web page and had requested that I wanted to listen in on his Phone Town Hall. He left a message on how I could listen in, which I did.

- LindaHow can I stop these calls? My mother is quite ill and these calls are coming in several times per week with a lengthy, loud message about a Town Hall meeting.

- Wisconsin GuyIt was a call that involved my senator in some sort of meeting, only it was over the phone. It was people asking the senator, Ron Johnson, questions. I was skeptical as to it's live authenticity. But I was qued up with my question for the senator after a real person asked me what question I had for the senator. It felt real. Although it was an unsolicited call. And the meeting ended before my question could be addressed. Was it spam? Sure, as it was an unwanted call. Was it real? I think so. But it (the random call) seems like a desperate way to spread political agenda.

- CanadianReceived a call inviting me to discuss “national public service week” on my business cell phone. I’m not in public service, my number is not listed. Offered a chance to win $500 towards Air Canada or a Viarail...all I had to do was join the call at 8PM eastern on June 13th.
