Received 2 calls from this number on my cell phone.  2nd call left message stating it was from Health Net asked for my husband to call them back and to use a PIN provided for security.  When I called back on a land line a recording answered stating it did not recognize the calling number but asked for the PIN.  After several attempts to enter the PIN the call was disconnected. Didn't know if it was a legit call so I called Health Net.  The person I spoke to did not know the reason for the call.  He asked me if I gave out any personal information.  Told him I couldn't get through so no information was given.  He put me on hold, called the number and got the same recording.  He noted the recording did not identify itself as Health Net, which I didn't notice when I had called.  Bottom line is I don't know whether or not it was a legit call from Health Net.      

I received a following voice message  from phone number 877-231-1777 on FRIDAY 10/3/14:

Message was:

"This is Healthnet calling. We have important information. Please call us at 1-877-231-1777.
Your 7 digit key is 502XXXX . When you call us please enter 7 digit key so we know it is you."

When i called this number on Monday 10/6/14 ; auto answering m/C  started asking my Birth date ,..etc . So I hang up.

I call healthnet and reported this but some how they don't know and everything was ok with my helathnet insurance account there was no information required,..etc.

I called them back, and after giving the automated attendant my year of birth, I learned that all they were calling about was to direct me to the HealthNet website to sign up for all their paperless services.

Please stop calling.
