Today, May 29, 2009, I received a call from this number from a man stating:
"Hi, this is Phillip, from ???? University Degrees??." this is the second call I've had from him, and I have no idea why he calls here.

They've been calling me all day too.  I finally decided to come on the net and see who it was.  Annoying!!!

Its From Facebook.....i know its my fault....but it is still annnoying.....no i dont want an online random degree leave me alone!!!!

called this number back.  Talked to supervisor.  someone is filling out surveys online and using random numbers.  They will take you off their list if you ask.  Now I am getting "unknown numbers" that just will hang up without talking to me.  If these are ligit companies, it's not their fault.  The name they ask on my phone is Tiffany Moore.  I doubt she even exists. I asked the supervisor to check this out.

this is totally the most annoying thing. this number keeps calling me and i am beginning to get very pissed...

Quite calling my phone number.....Nobody needs to be harrassed.....If I don't answer at least you could have the decenty to leave a message....A bunch of cowards you are.....Leave us alone....If we don't answer that should give you a hint to quit calling....ummmm....No common sense of courtesy.....

I just got a call because the phone number showed up on Caller ID.  You'd think this would be blocked too, but NOOOOOO!  Anyway, 1) I don't answer the phone after 4:00 unless I'm expecting a call, 2) I never answer 800-877- (and the rest of the prefixes), 3) if not interested, I say so and hang up before the caller takes another breath.

And I'm not on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace or any of those other socializing sites.  I don't even have a iPod and my cell phone doesn't even have the capacity to take pictures let alone texting!!!  Not interested even if it was the year 2510.

yeah this number keeps calling me so what i do is call them back and try to sell them something useless , like a fire alarm .

I am constantly getting calls from thsi number!! They will call during night hours such as 8 and 9pm. I tell them repeatly to stop calling me. Please somehow take me off ur list

Yep, it's my first time getting called from this number. I alway Google numbers like this and found this site. No one said anything and I just hung up. These calls are most likely from call center employees that don't want to make the pitch the boss has given them so they just wait until you hang up so the boss thinks they're doing their job. If you hang up quickly their boss will know their not reall making the calls and talking to us. Soooo my policy when I answer the phone is, after three seconds or so if I haven't heard a friend or a voice, hang up!

you're exactly right..my mistake too. just got done on the 'net and the phone rang 5 minutes later. learned my lesson.

Even though I have asked them several times to take my name off their calling list, they continue to call. Can't we report them to someone?
