- Ann Oidd| 2 repliesLet's see how this number travels...received call in NC at 10:02 am...left silent message in voice mail.
- ScamCop| 3 repliesCalled my number today. Research shows that this number used to be assigned to NCC Recovery from Victorville CA. They apparently went out of business and their website is defunct. Could be the same people starting up again, or it could be a spoof number. Either way, you can bet it is a collection scam. Remember, real collectors have no problem being honest about your debt and their abilties to collect. They won't threaten you with arrest, etc, and they won't spoof their number. Interestingly, the call I received from this number happened shortly after I received a call from MYSELF on my cell phone. Again, spoofing my phone number in an attempt to arouse my curiousity so I would answer the phone. I didn't answer.
- Nicole| 1 replyRec'd this call about 15 minutes ago in NC. 12/03/14 at 2:46PM EST.... Message left says it's a debt collector from First Point Collections?
- Call type: Debt collector
- CeceliaReceived this call in NC on 12/3/14 at 4:48pm. I answered. Nobody responded then the phone went dead. I do not have any past due bills. Was half-expecting it to be the "we can lower your credit card rates" people. Been getting a lot of calls from them lately.

- amberHad a missed call from this number, they didn't leave a message. When I called it a recording answered and said "I'm sorry mailbox 4577 is full". Weird.
- RozThis number left a message this morning asking me to confirming my name. I suspect it is a collection scam. I didn't call back.
If they are who I think, they are completely disreputable. I had a similar message several months ago. They asked for information like my date of birth and social security number. When I wouldn't give it over the phone, they got nasty, said what was the problem because they had it all anyway and were just confirming their information is correct. So read what you say you have on mfiy le back to me, I challenged. . They couldn't do that, the caller said, so I hung up. - anonymousI have turned this # in to the Better Business Bureau. They should not be allowed to be in business.
- Nichoel| 2 repliesI answered the call, robo op said to press one to confirm I was me. I did it and it Alade again to re confirm. A man comes on the line with a stern voice and tells me to confirm my date of birth and or address to prove I'm me. I said, " I'll do no such thing, you have yet to state who you are and why your calling. Why would I give my personal info?" In a stern and almost threatening tone told me that he would not give me any more info until I told him and that he already had my info and then proceeded to tell me, "I already know that your social begins with ***" I cut him off and said well that's no surprise, I've had my identity stolen before" He went on to tell me that this is an important matter and when I'm ready to confirm I can call back- click. Hung up on his rude self
- Caller: First Point

- tired replies to susanReceived call from this number on my voice mail and it was a robo call. Left this number (877) 412 4704 if I wanted to be taken off their call list. I did not call either number.
- jaybee| 1 replyReceived a call from this number on 01/15/2015 at 8:25 am. Automated message begins asking me if I am...press #, if I know..press another #, and .if I don't know that person press another #. I hung-up and checked the internet for who this is. It is a company called First Point Resources and the information I found is that they are supposedly a collections company. However, when I called them back from a different number, they gave a completely different company name. This is totally a scam...you should avoid these guys.
- Caller: First Point Resources
- Call type: Debt collector
- Becka| 4 repliesThis is First Point Collections, they want you to pay your bill. That's all. Good luck and God Bless you all.
- Caller: First Point Collections
- Call type: Debt collector
- john replies to Beckaits first point collections wanting me to pay a bill that was already paid off 3 months ago do not pay these people they are trying to trick people into paying a bill you already paid off
- L replies to Sidney| 1 replyI had to perma block them as well. They've been calling for the former owner of my phone number since I got it several months ago. They request that I call to let them know ifi don't know the person they're trying to reach, but I don't trusty that for a second. They'll just see that a female is answering the phone and assume I'm her, then they'll never stop. Businesses like this need to be outlawed. What they do to people feels a while lot like loan sharking. Is someone going to come shatter my kneecaps too? Lol geez. Anyway, if they attempt to circumvent the block in any way, I'm filling a police report for harassment. People who do this for a living need to eat a bullet. How sad and desperate must you be to take a job phone thugging? And most times they're not even reaching the people they're attempting to collect from, but only bothering law abiding, decent people who actually DO pay their bills! Smh, this crap should be illegal. If someone doesn't pay, then sue them in civil court and leave the rest of us out of it!
- YepThis number rang in at 1:24pm on NC number. No voicemail left. Not sure who it is. But im confident they are looking for someone that doesnt have my number anymore.
