Number belongs to USAA and is used for robocalls seeking info

Scammers claiming to be from USAA. Wanting info and trying to get cc# for 'verification' .... HANG UP FAST!!!!! This number is NOT associated with USAA.

Got a call today from this number. Sounded just like USAA automated voice system. Wanted info from my account and I hung up. Called the USAA number back to see what was going on, if they had actually called me. They said they did not call. This number is a scam, do not answer!!!!!!

Got a voicemail saying this was from USAA and to call the number back.  Called USAA and they said it wasn't them.

Called USAA and they stated it was NOT USAA.

Received a robocall to call back this number.  Sounds like USAA, but is a scam!

This is a SCAM! Oddly enough, I called this number back but it took me to USAA who verified they did not alert me or had any notes to call or leave me a voicemail.

Number called, its automated system claimed to be USAA, and it left a voicemail stating I needed to update my driver's license number on my auto insurance policy. I called USAA by way of another number and this was in fact true. Still, I'm not happy that you can call this system back and that it asks for your PIN, etc. Best policy for peace of mind: don't call the number back. Instead, call the normal USAA number and navigate their system and get to where you need to go, verify what the call told you with the USAA rep, and go from there.

This is legit usaa, but not the normal number. They needed some info for my auto insurance and left me a voice mail.  i called back and provided to them as it was the same IVR as the regular USAA number.    I read some things on the internet ater i did that and i got nervous i just gave my info to a fraudster.  But i called the regular usaa number and they were able to confirm the name of the person i talked to when i called the above #  (by looking at my records) was in fact a USAA employee and that the info they needed was a legitimate request.

Received the call this morning.  Called the main USAA number and was routed to the Fraud group.  They stated this number is NOT USAA but someone phishing for info.

When in doubt - call the main line.  It may be more of a headache to navigate but since we've already had our identities stolen, we are beyond skeptical for numbers we don't recognize - regardless who they claim to be!
