I don't remember receiving a phone call from this number, but if I did I didn't answer it.  I did receive a letter in the mail, handwritten address, no return address.  Letter inside is from Tradewinds on the Bay with a sailboat logo, no address or further company info.  There is a confirmation number at the top.  It then tells me I must respond by 10/2/2012. I have qualified for an award of roundtrip airfare for two, anywhere in the continental US, up to $1499.00 and certain restrictions apply.  They supposedly have tried several times to contact me without success and this is their last attempt.  They would like me to contact them at 877-248-1520 and the letter is signed by Mark Sims, Vice President, Travel Awards Division.  Needless to say, I did not call for my "award".

I just got the same letter in the mail (10/10/12; conf. #; etc...). I dealt with them several years ago, but never showed up for the appointment. It's for a time-share, and it's located in Rockland, near McDonalds.

I received this letter too.  Same confirmation number.  I called them and after asking many questions about the plane tickets, I did set an appt. up for this Sunday at 10am at the Tradewinds by the bay at 2 Park Drive Rockland. They assured me that I don't need to purchase anything, just attend the 90 min seminar in Rockland.  You have to use the tickets with in 12 months and pay the taxes and fees.  Some restrictions for the tickets, like can not be used on some school vacations.

Same letter with contact them date of the 17th of October. Same Confirmation number as the rest. No phone calls, just the letter. A time share in Rockland? Nope, not today thanks. Makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

Thanks for posting everyone. I just got my letter today... same confirmation #4759 and respond by Oct 26th. Life's tough enough without scams like this going around.

I think this came from a raffle to win an ATV at the Union Fair.  I started getting calls shortly thereafter, and now the letter.  I assume they call everyone who put a raffle ticket in.

Same in Blue Hill.  Same confirmation # - 4759.  My deadline to respond is October 31.  Not really a scam but certainly misleading.  Creative marketing?

No Phone call ever but did get the same letter as everyone else, tradewinds on the bay, hmmm if it's such a great deal and place to see for a time share...why do they have to use a marketing agency that mails from Toledo Ohio zip code 43601? and why do we all have the same confirmation code. My expiration date was for October 31st 2012. they would probably have better odds of someone buying if every body showed up on same day, better to have 1 in a million than none, lol

Got letter today, no previous phone calls.  Confirmation number 4759, must respond by November 5th.  SCAM
