Called me on Sunday, 3-18-12; came through as "Private Caller" so I didn't answer it.  Some guy left a message saying my SUV sweepstakes entry had won and to call them back.  Of course, I haven't entered any contests, so this is some scam-ola.  I won't be calling back.

I, too, received a call from this number stating they were from the prize department, and that my name had been chosen, he was looking at it right then, as the winner in the SUV, $25,000 sweepstakes.  Of course, I never entered such sweepstakes and was not about to call back about collecting my winnings.  Such a scam, and feel sorry for the people who would fall for this.  My Caller ID  showed the call from Chicago.

I received a call from Brad telling me I had won $25,000 in a SUV Getaway contest. I never entered any contest and it is a scam for sure!

Same thing just happened to me. The fact that they now leave messages is pretty bold! Of course I didn't call back, or entered any sweepstakes!

I received this call from this number,  also. Sad!

telemarketer/scam/just-annoying left a message about SUV and $25000 prize.  I didn't call back but I'm glad this site provides a place to check out these damn calls.

just got a call from private number, didn't answer if they don't have their name on the call, they don't deserve a pickup.  so they left voice message with number 877-249-6404 , $25,000 cash SUV and want me to call.  Wish I had a phony phone or some type of blocker to scam them.

I received the same call...anybody receive the cash and SUV?

So I received a call from an unknown number.  A man who called himself Brad left a message on my voicemail stating I entered a contest for $25,000 and an SUV, he had very good news for me, and I should call him at 877-249-6464.

After debating for a while, I decided to return the call.  On my first try, a message came on stating no one was available to answer the call.  On my second try, a woman answered the phone.  After asking my name and phone number "to verify what the call was about," she quickly stated my name was entered into the final draw and hung up without any further details.

I decided to call back once more, just to let them know I just wanted to be removed from their call list and guess what?  No one was available to take the call; how convenient!  I call again and the call goes to voicemail, who conveniently is full and cannot accept additional messages.

Anyone know what the heck these people want?  Is there an agency I can call to report these people?

Recieved a call from (Brad) about winning the $25k and SUV contest. Called back and recieved a rude human woman with a jersey accent. I interrupted her and asked what company she represented and was told [Direct Buy] whoever they are. Was told prize money doubled to $50k, hung when they asked my name. Really?  You called me, you should know who you are speaking to......click.

Got the same message as people here -- Brad called about winning $25K SUV contest -- never entered anything. The original number he called from though is 312-962-0230. I didn't call back but sounds like it won't be worth it anyway from the other responses here.

have received multiple phone calls leaving messages for me to call back regarding my sweepstakes entry for 25K and an SUV give-a-way...I haven't entered anything.  This has to be a scam...

I have received at least 3 voice mails stating I won an SUV (but no 25,000 in cash...guess they don't like me that much).  The numbers that keep calling me are 312-377-0165 and 312-962-0066.
I know better but I called anyway, I was asked my name...so I stated, well, I'm the winner here what info would you have to identify me. I was told, I should be receiving a certified letter stating I'm the winner and she hung up on me. That's no way to treat a winner. If anybody ever gets more info on what this scam outfit is...I'd love to know.

I received a phone call from a man named Brad today 4/2/12. He lightly explained that my entry had been pulled from "the" contest and that I was the unannounced winner of the $25,000 and an SUV. Then he said to call 1-877-249-6404 as he has done for all of you. I hesitant of scams figured it was to good to be true and don't recollect entering an contest of such sort. It was 10:21 when I decided to call (figuring they're closed) the phone nearly rang once on my end and was immidately answered. I heard the voice of a lady asking whom she was speaking with. I told her Matthew, which is not my actual name. She then said thank you and the call was dismissed. I called back and the line rang and rang and rang, my number had been blocked for calling that line and was redirected to a never ending ringer. This is most likey a scam of some sort yet not one I have never encountered before. Might someone know what they do with our names and with the number we call back from? How do they profit from this and how do they access our personal home phone numbers?

Got the same message about the $25,000/SUV giveaway. I called the number back because I actually have entered in a $25,000/SUV giveaway in the last 12 months. I was told that my entry had been picked to be in the final drawing at the end of the year. It seemed like a scam but they did not try to elicit any personal information from me besides confirming my name, phone number, and age. If they are trying to scam me then they are in for a surprise as I pretty much do not have anything.

I received the same call about the money and suv on april 11 at 730 pm

I received a call congratulating me on the fact that I won a prize in the $25,000 Dream Trip contest that I entered. When they asked me if my husband and I make over 50 Grand a year. I told them no and they would submit my name and said they would call me if we won anything. Not a scam at all.... Right.

How to report these people? I thought I coud to the BBB but there's no way to file a complaint unless I know the buisness name someone take them down.. I'm glad for this site I kept thinking about this and typed the number into google only to see it was a scam. What a bunch of jerk's, imagining if I really won could of made my life a lot better but whatevz..

A guy who did not identify himself or his company called my land line (which I ALWAYS screen) at 9:01am on 4/30/12 from Chicago, IL number 312-625-5522. He said he was calling about my "cash and SUV entry," and they are "taking a look at the entry and it looks good." He asked that I call him back at 877-249-6404.

Scum of the earth these creeps are.

i just got the same phone call and message my caller id showed 1-877-249-6404 as Unregistered .....Scammers!
