i just got a call from a lady named libby anderson saying this was my last chance to contact her about sothe same paperwork and would not say what it was in regards to.

Not only am I getting calls from this number but so is my mother and my husband... He said he knows where I live and is coming to my house and this was my final warning. No information besides the 8772505540 number to call back.

they appear to be the typical harass-type collection agencies. they can't even afford a telephone system so i wouldn't take them seriously. Its illegal for them to call you if you ask them to stop, but till we can track down WHO they are that will be impossible since their telephone system is a broken call center.

i would report it to the FTC

They are debt collectors on old debt that is already paid its a scam id report it to dtc and fdcpa also to ur nearest ag for illegal representation of a officer of the law. We need shut down this wannabe company there is no attorneys its a bunch of lies BUSTED im doing it myself its 7000 just for harassment

Your callers are scammers - you can't be "officially served" via fax, email or phone/voicemail.  And if you did have charges against you, the cops would have already shown up!  Please do report your callers to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.

This is a debit collection agency that buys old debits that have already been written off are against you're credit and more than likely the statue of limitations for the state you live in has already expired and they cannot sue you away. I called the company that they said I owed and they told me they had nothing to do with the debit anymore, they wrote it off years ago and it didn't involve them anymore. Bottom line is they are only trying to collect on your old debit. They are in Oklahoma and do this nationwide.  Above is their email address and http://crgrecovery.com/ is the website. They will threaten you and lie to you. I called them on it and the guy Brian I talked to didn't know what to say.

Also in the state of Texas you cannot be served by phone, email or text.

So how about posting up the Debt Collectors business name, address, web site if this is legit..

All they can do is put a judgment against u. It's not criminal suite

My question to you is what court, what state? A debit collector can not sue you criminally, at least in Texas they cant.

Quit yelling at us.  It's rude.  So is spreading rumors.  They can only "put a judgement" against "u" if they take you to court and win.  And most won't bother because they know they will only win if the "debtor" does not show up; a default judgement.  If you learn your rights under the FDCPA and FCRA you can fight back and win.  Sorry if I got the acronyms wrong.

you must owe the rental place a lot of $$$ for that item. For a collection agency to take u to court, it costs them more to take you to court, so they normally just bug u then sell to another agency.

This is the fax # they gave me:  480-371-1158, which is a Phoenix/Scottsdale area code.  they refuse to give a mailing address when calling them, so not sure if the CRG is the one in OK using a spoofed fax number, much like their 877 number.  Dept.of Business and Financial Services in Nevada has no record of them as a registered collection company..have not heard back from Az Atty. General's Office or the FTC.  I sent them a demand letter for violation of FDCPA, but, as expected, received no response. Have contacted an attorney who specializes in dealing with dirtbags such as this and will keep you posted.  Will keep everyone informed.
