This one called stating that they were process servers. NO ONE Calls you and gives a heads up! Sounds like theirs are!

Recieved a call from this number.  Please identify the reason!

Do you honestly believe these scammers go back and check for replies, or even know what numbers have been called?  Thank you for reporting your experiences, but please understand that "they" have no clue who is being called and could care less about anyone's response unless they get a "live" one.

Called number to try and get off call list.  Hit option for rep.  She wanted to know who I was and I wanted to know who she was.  She called first.  She said they were a law firm and it was one of their process servers.  I still wanted to know who they were and she said I was wasting her time and hung up.  Good.  Will block number.

Total scam, "credit collector"  they threatened a lawsuit to get payment for a capitol one card that was paid off and closed in 2014. When I informed them of this they told me they were sending the court papers and I could deal with it in the court system.

BE AWARE!!! Received a call from this number. Lady states her name is Lisa. Left me a voicemail stating they were collecting a debt and they were sending out a summons. I called the number back and no answer. I hung up and called right back and a lady answered. I told her I was returning a call. She asked for my social and I said I'm not giving you that information. She stated she needed to verify if she was talking to me. I said you called me you obviously have my info now what's this about. She stated she was hired to collect a debt. Said I owed a company over $1800 from 2013. I said no your wrong I don't owe any debt. I just pulled my credit report. She stated she would be sending out a county to pick me up. I said ok. I don't owe you any money. And you are a scammer. She hung up on me. I called right back and she automatically answers which tells me this is infact a scam. Any legitimate business would have automated system to go through first and most of the time you will not reach the same person back to back. I asked for her business address and information and she rudely said "Nope, not giving you that" and hung up on me again. Please DO NOT give these people any account information or pay anything. It's a scam!!!

These replies are for people getting a call from the number to let them know it is not legit!!!

Had a voicemail from a woman, Lynn Hollister. The first red flag was them asking for me by my maiden name.  I don't have anything filed under my maiden name.  When I called the number it only said press one for a representative, but doesn't identify the firm. When I googled the firm it brought a construction company. I googled the number and found that many people where being called by this number. I have blocked the number and contacted my bank as well.

Really wish I would have looked this number up before I sent them [***] money, good grief I'm tired of damn scammers!! All of these stories are the same linenthis Lisa gave me and I took the bait! Bet I won't be so stupid next time they call!

I just received a call from this phone number. They left a voicemail saying that I need to call and give a "statement" so that  a case would not be filed against me.
1. They would not call first to let you know.
2. All court threats would be mailed to you.

Spoke with this woman discussed in the previous posts. Pretty much everything she stated to me was similar to what others mentioned. Said she would sue and set up a wage garnishment. This is a scam
