Can you please stop calling

Natalie at M Callahan and associates calls me at work and home from this number, claiming she's collecting on an outstanding payday loan with Cutter Group.  Needless to say, I've never heard of Cutter Group and have no payday loans at all, outstanding or otherwise.  When I ask for documentation, she either hangs up, or says they don't need to send documentation.

I've reported this to my state Attorney General, who advised that it IS a scam, and to give them no information.   Per the Atty. General recommendation I will also report this to BBB and FTC.

Received a call about a bad check and she needs my info to make payment. I asked her for proof and she said she I would receive notice in the mail. I use checks for my rent and car payment only. I would have been evicted or Repossessed by now if this were true.

I recieved the same call, but i only used one check in the last 15 years and it was for a restaurant I worked for and they are calling my girls phone.

I had someone call saying a claim had been filed against me.  Left this call back number with affidavit # and told to contact within 48 hours.  Have been making sure that I check all #s like this on Google and all are SCAMS.  Will be contacting BBB, Attorney General, and FCC also.  This needs to stop, have even called my work.

I have recieved numerous calls from the same company saying it would be in my best interest to contact them within 48 hours . they have said i have check fraud i havent wrote a check in over a year .

This company keeps calling me about a bad check---that a friend supposedly wrote!  It's very possible that she wrote a bad check---but why keep contacting me just because she used my name as a reference on something?

Someone is calling me from this number stating that I have 48 hrs. to contact them and it would be in my best interest to do so.

I got a call from this office, saying they were filing a title 15 law suit against me for defauding a financial institution called paradise cash advance.  I've never heard of them and allegedly it was in September 2009.  When I asked for more information she said their computers were down and she'd
have to call me back at five o'clock

who ever are calling from this number are a big fraud. the female on the phone name is Bekki, she is very annoying. i want to know where this company is located.

Same as Shelby on Feb 7.  Some jibber jabber about a Title  15 law suit, it was mandatory that I contact them, etc. etc. etc.  Then the computer voice cut off mid sentence.  I didn't hear any specific company name, but I know I've had this exact call before and it was from Callahan & Associates.

First of all, any legal matters are sent through the mail, a real company will have your social security and submit mail correspondance to your home. This number is spam and I would like further actions to be taken by this dam lady on the phone.

Called me regarding a bad check.  I have not written a bad check in years.  I dont even own checks for my checking account.

Yes, but be VERY CAREFUL ... some of these so called companies CAN get your social security# and even your driver's license number----especially if you have ever filed out any kind of loan application on-line.  And it's not just payday loan companies -- "real" credit card companies get that information and somehow the crooks get a hold of it.  I was shopping for a car and filled out a "quick 30 second loan app" and I think that's when it all started!!

My attorney advised me never apply for anything online. Also, like the others have said, if they are legit they will produce documents.  PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!

It looks like they are calling out of Mammoth Lakes with the number 760-709-7676. Got the same call...

I keep getting the same call, bad check, title 15, filing a judgement.Funny cause they call my parents home, which is a new number, looking for me learning threatening messages... Can some please tell me what a title 15 is cause I cant find it anywhere on google....

I have received messages from work that this number is calling there wanting me to call and give a statement of intent. I have no idea why and I looked this number up to see if it had been reported and low and behold I found all of these posts!

The two numbers associated with the scam are:  877-252-0532  AND 415-735-3647.  They are calling and leaving messages where part of the name of the person they are threatening with legal action is conveniently blocked out but I caught that it refers in part to a woman partial name: Sukia.  There are accusations of check fraud, something about U.S. Title 15, and other threatening tone and language demanding a return call. The number they are calling is a business, and I tried to phone back to tell them, thinking they were just calling a wrong number, but no...I began to explain, and she immediately put me on hold.  I hung up.  it's a scam.
