I just received a call from that number too.  I bet it was some scam again.  I did not answer but if it calls again, I'm blocking.

Wow, I just got a call as well.  Somebody should answer so we can find out.  I don't volunteer myself.

Just got a call as well; didn't answer, but called it back. It's Charter Communications.

This number called me two days ago, then again today. Didn't answer either day but searched on this website. Now I know who it is.. Charter Communications.

Lately, they've been running surveys on their customers. Got one last week on an unknown caller ID... answered on accident and was forced in a 15 minute survey about their service.

I'm calling the 877 number and request they stop or I will never use Charter again.

I just got called as well.  The wierd thing is I was called yesterday while I was at work so I called them back after work and they were trying to get me to sign up for more of their servies.  I told them no and now today they called me back TWICE!!! I'm calling the 877 number and request they stop or I will never use Charter again as well.

Same as the others. I never answer my cell unless I know who it is calling. No message left, Googled the # and got this site. Thanks!

I have gotten so many calls from this number. Sometimes up two three a day!. I hate charter and have to find a new internet service provider.

First time for me... June 15th 09.. about 1:43pm CST.

I'll answer it next time but battery is low today.  If they want to get info on there service I'll tell them there damn capped internet is pissing me off.

I got a call from this number about 6:14 PM CST today 6/17/09.  Fortunately I didn't answer, since according to this site it's Charter again.  Last time they called me with an unknown number like this I kept missing them for a couple of weeks.  When I finally did I had to forcefully reject some semi-high pressure sales.  I don't look forward to having to do that again just to get them to stop calling.

I just got the same call.  I answered, but no one was on the other line.  They terminated the call after a couple seconds of silence.

The exact same thing just happened to me. They called, nobody was there and then the call ended a few seconds later.

Now that I know it's charter. I'm going to answer it next time. Just to let them know I'm leaving. Tired of not being able to use the net for 2-3 hours in the morning. Anywhere from 7:30 am to noon. Doesn't do no good to call. One time I called and was told and I quote" We don't have time for this"
I filed a complaint with BBB. They had time then. LOL

I'm glad I looked this up. I never answer calls I don't recognize, if its important, they'll leave me a message. So this number called me yesterday and left no message, but called me again today and left a message. When I listened, I heard this incredible fast mumbled version of "1888getcharter", I thought. So, I googled the number and this makes me mad. I can't believe they would be almost harrassing customers! At first I paniced and thought I forgot to pay my bill or something (which never happens). I hate charter.

I have had eight calls from this number in less than a week and three today. Glad I did not answer. This seems to happen every month that they call incessantly, and then do not for a while.

Charter is in bankruptcy!?  And they have money for this!?

Just got a call on my cell, too. Asked for Mr. or Mrs. mis-pronounced name.I said I was the babysitter and need the caller's name & business for my employer. Had to ask twice and stop him from hanging up before he gave me this information. He said he was John Clark from Charter Communications and had business with Mr. or Mrs. mis-pronounced name and NOT the babysitter. Rude man. Wait until he calls back, I have a boat air horn for him.

I've gotten seven calls in the last two months from them. Their service stinks. If they call when I'm around to answer, I'll give them a piece of my mind. And they're WAY overpriced!

This number calls me every day, twice a day!!! I do not answer to it and they do not leave any voicemails.
