Lately, they've been running surveys on their customers. Got one last week on an unknown caller ID... answered on accident and was forced in a 15 minute survey about their service.

The wierd thing is I was called yesterday while I was at work so I called them back after work and they were trying to get me to sign up for more of their servies. I told them no and now today they called me back TWICE!!! I'm calling the 877 number and request they stop or I will never use Charter again as well.

- PoochoI got a call from this number about 6:14 PM CST today 6/17/09. Fortunately I didn't answer, since according to this site it's Charter again. Last time they called me with an unknown number like this I kept missing them for a couple of weeks. When I finally did I had to forcefully reject some semi-high pressure sales. I don't look forward to having to do that again just to get them to stop calling.

- MeatheadNow that I know it's charter. I'm going to answer it next time. Just to let them know I'm leaving. Tired of not being able to use the net for 2-3 hours in the morning. Anywhere from 7:30 am to noon. Doesn't do no good to call. One time I called and was told and I quote" We don't have time for this"

- laurieI'm glad I looked this up. I never answer calls I don't recognize, if its important, they'll leave me a message. So this number called me yesterday and left no message, but called me again today and left a message. When I listened, I heard this incredible fast mumbled version of "1888getcharter", I thought. So, I googled the number and this makes me mad. I can't believe they would be almost harrassing customers! At first I paniced and thought I forgot to pay my bill or something (which never happens). I hate charter.

- phran| 3 repliesJust got a call on my cell, too. Asked for Mr. or Mrs. mis-pronounced name.I said I was the babysitter and need the caller's name & business for my employer. Had to ask twice and stop him from hanging up before he gave me this information. He said he was John Clark from Charter Communications and had business with Mr. or Mrs. mis-pronounced name and NOT the babysitter. Rude man. Wait until he calls back, I have a boat air horn for him.
