Someone called me, and missed the call. I call back to them, and they don't tell me who they are, but kept asking my information for verification purpose. I hung it up.

This is a debt collection agency.

These folks are harassing me.

This is a debt collector.  They leave a message stating to hang up if they have reached me in error, than say if I don't hang up I am agreeing to ownership of the debt.  I have hung up several times and they still call back.  Really irks me.

Received a call from this number - woman asked for my address...I told her to tell me what she had and I would tell her if it was correct...she told me that if I didn't verify the information she had, the call would be terminated...so I terminated the call.  Stupid people!

this stupid woman called and left a message, when i call back she wanted me to give her my personal personal information without her telling me who the are WTF!!! who knows what they are trying to do!!! just in case never give any personal information about anything to any one that you don't know

This number calls me all the time and never leaves a message, they finally did and it said it was brian nichols and to call him back.. Im not gonna. I guess theyre trying whatever they can to get you to call back. Im not tht stupid!

So these ppl keep calling ,phone and when I answer it they ask me for my address and ss number. When I ask them who they are and what do they want they wont answer me so I just hung up in his ear. You would think that he wouldn't call back after oh but he did about 6 times and all times I didn't answer than on the 6th time I picked up and told him tell me who they are and what they want or stop freakin calling my phone. Since then they have not called me yet.

KEEP CALLING.. WOMAN ACTUALLY PRETENDED TO BE A MACHINE WHILE LEAVING A MESSAGE.. GET OUT OF HERE..

This number calls me every few days, I tried returning the call, and it is a recording that the next available rep will be with me shortly without saying who they are, at which time I hang up.  I sent them a text message with a lot of strong language telling them if they call again I'd go to the FCC.  They have called again twice since then.

They keep calling. Never leave a message.  This time I answered. The lady wanted me to give her the last 4 digits of my ss# in order to proceed with the call. I asked what she was calling about and she said "prior cable services". But wouldn't give name of her company.

When I refused to give my personal info to her, she hung up.

Be very wary of these folks.

Whatever happens do not verify anything for them.  Most of these collection companies are not able to verify the debt is yours so they call you to verify it.  They have no right to harass you.  They are only doing it because you do not know your rights.   Next time they call you ask them to Cease and Desist calling you.  If they still calling find a copy of  a Cease and Desist letter online and mail it to them.  You can take them to court if they still call after you take that action.  

You need to familiarize yourself with the  - Fair Debt Collection Act.  You can find it online.

Never give out any personal info.  Next time they call ask them to cease and desist calling you.

Now that is funny! Pretended to be a machine! I called them back several times and kept asking for a different name and they kept having to tell me that there is no one there by that name. To which I replied, not fun to keep getting these stupid calls is it? Don't know if that did it or not, but not heard back since.

They call every few days, never leave a message. After doing the research and reading that they are not legit, seems best to just ignore the call.

Received a call from this number this morning.  I'm sick and was in bed sleeping.  Don't know who they are, but if they don't give you their information, don't give them yours.  They didn't leave a message either.

They called again...at 8:30 this morning.  They have been reported and blocked on the digitone (which I need a new one anyway) and I will be reporting this call as well.

Got the first call today. Called them back and they wanted my SSN to find out why they had called me and when I refused, citing the fact that THEY called ME...they said unless I gave them my SSN, they couldn't help me.
