- Bella replies to tammyCall the state attorney's office and FBI, report them, they are trying to scam you for money
- MBThey called me looking for my friend, not even me, and left claim number, etc. I called back and said Goes on a rant about how she owes money, etc. I said, slow down, you haven't once identified the name of your company, you haven't told me what this is in regards to, as in which company has filed the claim with you. I said, how did you get MY number. Finally came up with the answer, you were listed as a reference. She would never give out my phone number. He quickly said Have a good day and hung up. Quite obviously a scam.

- on to you replies to deleted post"tiffany" you are a liar!!!! (obviously you are one of the scammers with a fake post) First - failure to pay on a loan does not result in bad check/fraud charges - I was told this by a lawyer, whom I have had to retain since you slugs have stolen my info and call weekly saying I owe some company money - so go back to whatever third world pit you and your buddies crawled out of. (and by the way, your crappy use of english grammar and syntax give you away!)
- MAD AS HELL !!!| 1 replyMad as Hell!!!!!!!
I was called yesterday on my job stating charges has been filled against me and i had been officially notified even though they left the message on a answering machine saying if i don't contact them I will be served papers to my house or job for court. My thing is why not send a letter in the mail with all the i nformation on it and how to reloves issues before harrassing people. If it's against the law for them to do this someone needs to form a group and fight to get charges on them and they can see how it feels to be harrassed and lied on.- Caller: UnKnown. - tiffany| 1 replyI dont know exactly who you are on to you but it seems to me that you dont know what your talking about. I had my attorney call in before setting up any arrangements to verify that this case and firm was legitimate. If they have the original account number for the loan, social security numbers, and banking information then they are legally handling the claim. Obviously you have your own opinions but all i know is I am not proceeding to court for this because i chose to resolve it with them you can make your own choice. My attorney also made me aware that they can charge me with a bad check charge because I set an electronic check on file.. trust me i will not be a victim of identity theft i know i took out this loan and now its taken care of.

Still not buying your "story" - Terry1234Hello All,
What is what these people calling from 877-255-1817, they called me 14 times today stating that I owe them some money and that they have my social security and need to verify my address to serve me court papers. But what I found funny is that when they ask for me they used my first name and my mother maiden name. I thought this was very fishy. PLEASE HELP ME!!! - Terry1234 replies to MAD AS HELL !!!Hey Mad as Hell!!! I got the same voice message, Stating that I had been officially notified" Have you heard anything back from these crazy ass people. I heard they are a fake.
- Pat| 1 replyThis is a scam. The phone number comes up as a web design business in at 1320 Cambria Dr, Schaumburg, Illinois in apartment 7204. The FBI should pay them a visit. They also have a business in India. It says the firm is doing very well. Must be they have managed to scam plenty of people. They called my number for my daughter.

- Terry1234 replies to PatWow hoe did you find out they where a scam, because I was thinking about calling them back. But I was like Hack no I am not going to call them back!
- RichardThis is a relatively sophisticated scam. I received a call from an "unknown" number (didn't come up on caller ID) and the caller (a woman) asked for an address in order to "serve me". She said, "You're not aware of this action?" I said, "No, I need details." She persisted, and said she couldn't give me details, and I said that I wasn't giving her anything without her name, company name, and the nature of the action against me. She said, "Well, you need to call Global at 877-255-1817 for that information. I can't disclose it to you. All I need is your address to serve you." So I said, ok, I'll call the number you just gave me.
Of course, I went right to the computer and plugged in the phone number. It's for a web design shop, ostensibly in Illinois, but with connections to India. Google it if you need to verify.
The bottom line is that they're running a relatively sophisticated scam. The woman who spoke with me was very, very aggressive, and I can understand how someone with less knowledge of these things than me could get immediately sucked into the scam.
She said she'd call me back in three hours to verify I contacted Global. I hope she does. I can't wait.- Caller: Global

- Not in the mood for the BS| 1 replySo this idiot with the fake name, Rachel Powers called to annoy me not very long ago. I called her card the moment she opened her mouth. "I'm a process server and you are being sued. I have charges that you should be aware are being filed on you and I need to serve you unless you dial 877-255-1817. Your case number is 138-631. If you need more information than that you need to call the number." B*tch whatever! You got the right one this time. I know exactly what game she is playing. All I can do is warn you and let you know now this is a scam and they have no power. Also, common sense should tell anyone that there is no way a company has a criminal case number on you if you haven't been arrested by police or received information from your county courts in the mail. A company that is real isn't going to call you with phony charges and case numbers in the first place. See they would call their lawyer who would then go to the courts and file a case against you and the courts would contact you for your day in court. I can't wait until she calls back. Oh and one more thing, the majority of the people on here are fake posters that work for these scammers. The one's saying settle with them are scammers.

- Yvette replies to Not in the mood for the BSLOL! Looks like they caught you on the wrong day. haha Thanks for your post that was great and on point. You covered it all. I got a call from the same number today with the exact same name being used so I guess it's the day to use Rachel. I went right to google and searched the number and their you all were. You also were correct in saying these scammers are posting on here. They figured out people use these sites so they try and beat us to the punch lol. I told her to bring it on and go right ahead and serve me. Every single time I hung up she called right back so I can tell now they'll be annoying me for a few days. grrrrrrrr

- anonymous replies to NOT RIGHT HELPWell, harassment to get you fired is part of the threat, isn't it? You did the right thing in not caving in to the scammers. You don't want to work at any place that won't support its employees anyway. Try looking for another job with another scammer. What do shills make nowadays?
- It's been happening to my brother replies to NOT RIGHT HELPContact your State AG office, they will help you file charges, also talk with your former employer and state the situation to them that you did not provide the phone number to Global, and under Federal Law it is ILLEGAL for them to have contacted your workplace other than to leave a message for you to call them back. Also check into your state's Laws about being fired, because this was out of your control.
