this is another debt collector using a former or fake name to bypass the national do not call registry.

Got a call from this 877-256-2510.  Didn't answer but called back to find out who was behind the number and the operator on the end of the line said it was Chase Recievables....  Funny, I don't have any accounts with a chase rec.  Bbut they still got ahold of my number....  Not the first time that's happened...

They blow my phone up everyday over an alledged Verizon bill.  The problem is that I have never had Verizon and I have told these blow hards a million times.

I'm furious.  I got a call from 877-256-2510 and they left a message with a family member saying that this was Matt, calling from Chase about a job opportunity for me since I was laid off a few months ago.  I called back an hour later and spoke to Matt whom of course lied saying that my family member misunderstood or told me the wrong message and that they were debt collectors.  I don't have any debts with Chase and the medical debt they were calling on wasn't mine.

These people are liars.  Don't respond.  They are using fake company names with fake reasons to get a hold of you.

it is chase...tell them (if they have the wrong #) and if they don't remove it that you are going to call the attorney general...that will put FIRE under their...( well you know )

I've been getting calls from this number as well.  When I called, the person that answered the phone said it was Chase Receivables.  The call was suspicious as the gentlemen kept getting frustrated with his computer and track ball - most representative don't say "I'm getting peeved off here" to a customer.  After checking my phone number he only came up with names other than my own and finally ended the call saying that he couldn't speak to me unless they were to call me.

For the record here, 800-622-0484 also called and left a message to call the above number, and referenced a file number (which the representative said was for yet another person).

Some obnoxious collection agency that uses the name Chase Receivables and has a dozen different numbers looking for someone that doesn't live here (I have had this number for a decade).  I have nicely told them several times that no one by that name exists but they don't remove me.  I am keeping a log to forward to the FCC/FTC (maybe when they get enough complaints they will act).  Enough is enough.

I got a call from this number and it had a pre-recorded message saying it was the California lottery!

then now when I called it back it said Chase receivables. That is so bogus.

this number calling me many many times, asking me to pay money for my verizon account. but my verizon account is perfect fine without any overdue.. thatis bogus.

If these people spent as much time calling as they did trying to help others in this sad world it may be a better situation

I just got a call from this number saying they were collecting a debt for Verizon. They told me if I were to pay over the phone today that they would settle for less than the $95 I owed. Funny, I just paid my Verizon bill this morning and it said I have a $0 balance. I called Verizon to verify and they also confimred that I have a $0 balance. They didn't seem too concerned with the fact that this call was claiming to be from them, even though I was able to get the scammers extension and fax number, although I'm sure they are bogus numbers.

I checked messages on my office phone and to my surprise there was a message from someone leaving me a # to call. Well, I called 877-256-2510 and some guy answered and said Chase Receivables. I asked him what this was in regards to and he couldn't tell me. I told him to lose my # and to never call my office phone again. If it is from Verizon I closed my account with them over 12 years ago and owe them nothing. What an A --.

I received a call from 877-256-2510 to my cell on Thursday, February 16, 2012. I answered hello, and then I heard a hang up. Today, the next day, I see all these posts of this telephone #. Thank you all!

Yeah getting the same thing, voivemail said chase recievables but when i called the # the recordings said bank of america.... and the gentleman who answered said that i called bank of america. very odd.

Got a call from them, but then they hung up

When I called they had some bogus credit card I never heard of and address I don't think even exists in my city and wanted me to confirm my social security number.  I could hear othe operators asking for social security numbers.  When I refused the man wanted to get off the phone.  This sounds like a scam.

Same thing, called me at 04/03 @ 1500 and hung up.

This was a call to my cell phone and then the caller does not answer (no one or nothing on the end of the line) then hangs up.  Annoying.  Taking time away from my job!!!!!!
