call from this firm after 8pm in evening to an unlisted number on the DNC list.  reporting to FTC in hopes they will do their job and put these criminals out of business

Received two missed calls from this phone number this week.  No messages left.  I've been on the DNC list for years and I update my number on it about once a year just in case.  Annoying.  :(

Also on the DNC list. Called twice to an unanswered cell on a Sunday afternoon. No message left.

The caller fails to speak when confronted. The caller in turn disconnected. There have been 5 calls in 4 days, mostly late in the evening.

They were the Univ. of Oklahoma doing an update of the alumni directory.  They never asked for money.  They said they were just updating their info for a new directory.

The call is from PCI the data company.  They do alumni directories for colleges, universities, and such.

The update is about a 5-10 minute process in which you will update your listing in and be offered an alumni directory, you will not be forced to buy one, you will be listed regardless of purchase (if that is your wish). You have choices of what's printed and not - there may be survey questions that will not be printed that help funding through grants and such. It's altogether painless.
