Chad, here's an update...I searched more on this company is called "IAG"...... they appear to frauds fakes....research the company, they have different numbers...don't fall for their tactics! Don't call back! If they keep calling report them!  If this was legit you would be mailed the papers...they don't PHYSICALLY come to your house like they said..........it appears this company goes after people who get pay loans..be cautious.

Ha - you know it would be funny to call him back and tell him I do not possess proper identification, so what's he gonna do now.  lmao

I got a call from these people too... A JOHN HAGGERTY was the name. Advised me he was coming to serve paperwork to me about a suit and if I did not agree it was a good time he would go forth with filing in the county where I live. He gave me a case number and all. I never called. I demanded more information. He told me to call this number and settle it and have him sent a letter.. Who are they???

I just got a call on my cell phone from a number that when I searched it registered as a pay phone.  He said that he had some legal paperwork that he was hoping to be able to deliver me tonight and if I had any questions he gave me this phone number along with a case number.  Yeah right.  I live in Texas and I know my rights. Also I checked my local court records online and guess what NOTHING there.  Wonder what he thinks he is going to bring me?

i have never did a pay day loan on line and they keep call me and when i ask for documents of the loan they hang up on me what can i do legal against them

This is a scam to find out information on you. They say things like you can settle the suit blah blah, and ask for credit card or debit information. Do not call them.

I also got a call from them when I asked for information she just asked for my personal infornation when I refused to give it she threaten  to proceed with the lawsuit. She even went as far as to mention my last address. I am glad I saw these other comments before calling them back. This might have saved me from identity theft or  from money being taken from my bank.

Got a call from this number  - Saying his name is Adam Grant and then saying he needed to get in touch with me to sign some paper work - and gave a ref # and said it was a civil suit - how original...lol.  I cant believe that these people can keep calling cell phones...its annoying.

So has anyone acually get any papers serverd yet..i got a call from this number too saying they had sealed doucuments..what is it????

I received a call at my work adn called it back as i was oblivious as to what it was in regards to. once I called and advised that i have no idea what the call was for. I was immediatly told to calm down and not to yell at him.

I was just asking a simple question. Once the person said that they were not a collection agent, I asked well, if you are not a collection agent who are you. He then said that I am Jonathan Vader. Yes Vader as in Star Wars. He then hung up on me.

I had also received a call from my sister and parents who then said they had received calls from them on my behalf. They then harrased my Family Members whom I have not lived with in over 15 years.

I have researched this and I cannot find IAG based in NY anywhere nor can i find the 8777-263-7159 number listed to any company as well.

I had pulled my credit report right after the call and I do not see the company that they are saying I owe money to anywhere on my report.

This is a total SCAM do not give them any information.

Ummm....I made 2 posts on January 6th detailing what happened to me.  One of those posts is gone.  I wonder who flagged it?  Hmmmmm......So I will say it again.  I was called from an unknown number (my caller ID was unable to identify the fact that the call was even received) and I was left a message that if I did not call them immediately Mr. so-and-so would show up to my work and serve me papers and I had better have the proper identification ready.  I ended up calling them back several times, getting an answering service each time, but I made it loud and clear that I know they are scammers and they had better remove me from their list of victims.  They haven't called back since.

I just left them a message that I'd like to get my debt resolved and they can contact me at <Los Angeles FBI Field Office #>.  Ha

No, they were supposedly going to "serve" me January 7th.  I wish I had gotten the guy back on the phone so I could ask him if he was really personally going to fly across the US to California to serve me at work.  LOL

I just received a voice message from these idiots.  Yes, an actual voice message where one of their untrained phone thugs threatens to file lawsuit papers if I don't call back.

They even blocked their phone number.

They don't even say who they are.  Wouldn't it be funny if someone found out who the head of this sham was and planted some cocaine in their vehicle and then tipped off authorities in their area with their license plate number?

In reality though I hope they get what they deserve.

These people are a scam. They will call you on your cell phone and state that you are trying to be served. They call family, friends and relatives trying to locate you to "serve" you so called "court papers" for a so called "law suit" against you. This has got to stop.

I wish someone would call, threaten, harass and sue there family and friends including themselves and see how it feels when the shoe is on the other foot.

I stand corrected to company is called IAG(International Assets) and the persons name was Sean Jacobson and his so called phone number is (716) 748-6350 EXT 129. They claim that they are trying to collect for a Pay Day Loan.

Just wanted to FYI everyone that after months of digging into this company because they called me too. I called the original debtor and they connected me to the next and then the next i finally got to national credit adjusters who are also IAG and got connected right to the person I had been speaking with the last few months. If you believe it is fraud contact all the collection agencies that have been sold your debt and they will get you to the correct place. Otherwise just pay your damn bills and stop pretending they don't exist.

Contact your original collector and they will direct you to the right places. After that you keep going until you get to the last collection agency and if it's the same person, as it was with me. Just pay the money and they will leave you alone.
