This number 877-267-3265 keeps calling but won't leave a message

I'm getting that same call, have you tried picking it up?

I picked it up and a computerized voice said it was an important call from the IRS. It asked for a name I didn't recognize and asked me to press 1 if I was that person and 2 if not. I pressed 2 and it told me to call the office if I had any questions. I have not been able to verify the number yet. Hopefully pressing 2 didn't hijack my phone.

its a scam... i got it 3 times and called the IRS direct to verify. IRS said they do not make those calls, they do not have my phone number on file, and my account is fine. The IRS customer service woman also told me to beware of similar EMAIL scams claiming to be from the IRS. I also recently have been getting many Emails from various banks claiming my account is at a negative (but i dont have an account with that paticular bank establishment) so watch out. Anything seems fishy, call the "company" direct or be at rist of someone pirating your information.

I have called the FCC Do not call registry, you can file a complaint there easily and also block other telemarketers. This caller you guys have referrred to has called me Incessantly. We'll see what happens. I will say though, that since I registered my phones with the FCC do not call list, I recieved exceptional results and phone spam is down to nill (except for this one). I just filed the complaint on 1/15/08.

This is ARS (America's Recovery Service) they would not talk when I answered, they'd hang up. When my husband answered, they talked to him 2 times about a debt 14 years ago, other times he had a recording.

several calls to my number-asking for david garciea-this is the only number they have for him-they had it over 7 years-i had the same number for 30 yrs-i think they stopped after yelling into the phone-keep a whistle handy

Calls acting as a collection agency

Calls my home phone 15 times day bothering me during my work & sleep time. It neither leaves a message nor answers when I pick up the call.

i get one for Paul Cardona. these calls just keep on coming in. guess when i got a new cell #, it used to belong to Paul Cardona who owed somebody money and now they think i'm him. PIKERS!

well, i finally got sick of it and picked up the phone. it said press 2 if you're not the person and to call the same # back.

i did and talked to a lady. told her i have no idea who this is and she took my # off their calling list.

so hopefully that'll stop the flood of calls.

I keep recieving this call as well.  They are looking for someone that used to have my phone number.  I called them yesterday and they said they would remove my number.  Well, I got another call from them today!  Now no one will answer my call.  They say they are the ARS

I received a call from 877-267-3265 for G. Medina on Sunday  1/27/08.  I called the number and requested to have my number removed from their system and was rudely  told it would be removed, then they hung up on me.

I just received a voicemail at work from this number saying that it was imperative that I call back today. I've received many calls from this agency, including at my home all during the day, at night and weekends, including Sundays.

877 267-3265 CALLS MY CELL PHONE MINIMUM OF SIX TIMES DAILY DURING THE WEEK AND HAS NOW STARTED ON THE WEEKENDS. I NEVER PICK UP, ONLY 2 MESSAGES EVER LEFT ON MY VOICE MAIL, SOUNDED LIKE A BROKEN UP AUTOMATED MESSAGE - NOT UNDERSTANDABLE.

I've been the calls a few times a day.  I have caller ID and won't answer 800 number telephone calls. I got disgusted and this morning I got it twice within an hour and both times it got me out of a nice warm bed. So I decided to call back.  On one of the calls I pressed 2 (I was not the person they were lookin for)  and was told to call a number. I did not have a pencil and paper handy so did not get the number. It wasn't the samenumber as the one on the caller ID. This morning, the second time, I pressed one and was put on hold for the next available customer service representative and was eventully disconnected.  I called the telephone number that was on my caller ID and did manage to get a real live person who was rude.  I asked to have my number removed from their calling list.  She was rude and ssid she could not do that becasue she had to speak to the person she was looking for and then she hung up on me.  If I get another call I plan on going to the consumer reporter at one our my local TV stations.  I live near Boston so it may get wide coverage.

I am also filing a complaint with the FCC. These scumwads have to learn they CANNOT HARASS us!

I received 4 calls yesterday and 1 today it is a automated system.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I called the  ARKANSAS ATTORNEY GENERAL'S office, they filed a complaint, they haven't called since.

The calls come in several times a day. They are always automated and ask for you push one if you are the person for whom they are looking, although
there is never a name given, or to push two if you are not this person.
Very annoying, but I hesitate to call them back, thinking that it might
cause more phone calls. Any ideas?
