Same here: when I picked up, nobody was speaking.

Your phone may have a technical problem but you may also be receiving calls from an automatic dialer that logs the time the phone is answered.  A telemarketer uses the information to indicate when a person will be at your number to answer the phone.

Been noticing this number for a couple of weeks.
There is never any messages left.
Also found (for the last 2 times it's has been dialing my number) that phone call was around 4h00 in the afternoon.

This is a special offer notification call from The Bay.  If you call back and wait a minute, they will give you an opportunity to add your number to their "do not call" list.  I don't know why I need to do this when I'm already on the do not call list, but now I'm on two.

I called this number back.  It is the Bay making an exclusive offer on a product.  We do hold an HBC credit card so this is probably why we received the offer.  When one calls back, they give you the option of entering your phone number and having your name removed from the calling list.

I can't under stand this - I've been getting calls at least twice a day - no one answers.

They called around 4.30pm.
Everyone says it's the Bay. They have been calling for weeks for my mom, and when I asked them to leave a message they hang up. Stupid.

It is the Bay with a fabulous offer.

suggestion NEVER pick up any toll free numbers at your home

my standard answer is always, you have the wrong number

Never answer the call. At least twice a day.

Got a call from them at 7:54 p.m.  I think they call until 8 p.m.

i am going to cancel my card tomorrow

when you answer the call no one replys.  This happens at different times of the day and week.  It's a big pain for those who are on shift work.
