it is wells fargo bank,. regarding the overdraft notice...changes that will take effect in August 2010 for existing customers and July 1st for new members.

Twice now.  No messages.  It isn't wells fargo - never had an account with them!

no message left by a TOLL FREE CALL caller id. Don't have a wells fargo account or any affiliation with them either. WF says they use a Wells Fargo caller id and would leave a message when calling.

I picked up the phone.  I was told they are from Wells Fargo Bank.  He said they were calling to notify about changes happening.  So he asked if he called on a cell phone or landline.  So I got suspicious.  I said how do I know that this call is from Wells Fargo.  So he gave me a 800 number to call Wells Fargo Consumer.  So I said is that the number that you called me.  He said no.  So I asked him how do I know that you are calling from Wells Fargo.  So I hung up on him.

These TOLL FREE CALL caller id numbers 877-415-9255 & 9258 are from a company called Influent Inc call center claiming to be Wells Fargo doing a consumer survey / telemarketing. People have called these numbers back and only a few have gotten through to hear the message saying it is Wells Fargo and press 1 to opt-out of these calls but it does not work and the calls still come.

I get this call asking for my husband from Wells Fargo. He's busy I said this is mrs.... they said they could only speak with who's the acount is for. I know damn well we only have a joint acount, I tell them this and she states she could only speak with him. Interesting. Guess they only bought his name. Shes asked when he's be available for a call back and I said " I couldn't say" Banks are getting very aggressive these days.

Just so everyone who reads this know this number (877)275-1502 is not wells fargo bank. They are preying on the fact that there are changes going on with overdraft procedures. It is a scam, do not provide any acct info and if you have please call you bank and start fraud proceedings please. I will tell you that fraud proceedings will cause some inconvenience but it's better to be safe than sorry.  I used to work for wells fargo and when I got this call I was already aware that they don't do business this way. I called some friends I know that still work there just to check it out and they confirmed my suspicions. I also reported this number I encourage anyone who gets this call to do the same.

877-415-9255 & 9258 are numbers that call with a TOLL FREE CALL caller id also claiming to be Wells Fargo. Another post said they claimed to be American Mortgage Co. , but there is also one that says she was told it is a company called Influent Inc. a survey-telemarketing company. I too do not have a WF account or any business affiliation with them and have called them only to have them say they did not call.

This is a fraud, when I asked them to stop calling me, they wanted to know the last 4 digits of my bank account to be able to remove my phone number (!) from their list, otherwise they would keep calling me. Very annoying, don't give out any information.

This number used to call all the time.  I had to go so far as to change my phone number at the bank.   It had stopped when I complained to my bank of harassment after getting more then 10 calls in 3 days.

It stopped for a couple of months then started again this week.  Three calls yesterday, 4 today.  Starting before 9 a.m.  I'm livid.  I told them one more call and I'm closing my account.  This is unexcusable.  Never had I thought I'd be stalked and telemarketed by my own bank.

Called Wells Fargo to verify, was put on hold for awhile while but the rep said it is a company working on behalf of Wells Fargo to notify customers of upcoming overdraft protection fees..

10 calls today never leaves a message or answers, funny because I don't have a WF account or any business affilaition either. I'm with you this is harassement from a telemarketer used by WF.

Hmmm so why do they ask for peoples account information after claiming to be Wells Fargo? If you enter 877-275-1502 you can see several other posts that say they are asking for account number's. Even though they are using an outbound line phone system they should be able to see what number they called and take this number off their list and not ask for an account number. Why would anyone give out this information over the phone to an unknown company/person? And Wells Fargo doesn't mind this, that's a little scary.

If it's Wells Fargo calling then they already called me about the overdraft from a different 800 number.

Got a call from this phone number but they left no message and on the caller ID is just toll free.  I called back the number and got a recorded message that said it was Wells Fargo and that it about debit card overdraft services.  Gave me hours to call back.

Don't panic! It's only  Well Fargo Bank calling to notify customers about upcoming O/D banking changes taking effect in August. My Credit Union called me yesterday for the same exact thing.

Not from Wells Fargo, we don't ask for personal info over the phone unless you call us... Especially the 800 numbers.

Have received a few calls from this number - shows as toll free on caller ID.  Never leave message.

After 2 calls from this number i contacted my wells Fargo Branch and said do not give out any info. and nothig is going to change on any ones account.. SCAM..Caller , file a complaint..
