Carol.Langdon@eos-cca.com - MPAbout last month --- I called back and found out they asked for another person, not me. I told them he NEVER lives in my place. I have no idea of where he lives. I asked them to stop calling repeatedly. They did remove my number, but now they are calling back AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am WRONG person for this stupid debt collection agency!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Farmgirl3535| 1 replyThe ONLY debt that I have ever been sent to collections for was AT&T and I was unaware of it until I bought my house, months later. It was a debt I didn't owe because AT&T made the mistake! I've had the item removed from my credit, and now the calls are starting again. They left a 15 second message of background noise on my phone, and I angrily called back and demanded to know who they were. the guy was nice enough, but could not help me. Apparently, they could not pull my number up in the system. Already filed one complaint with the FTC since they don't leave me a proper message, AND the debt is not only no longer owed, but was never SUPPOSED to have been owed.

- Ksggy2Robocall for "Lori Conroy," who's unknown to me. Recording asked me to hang up if I was not Lori Conroy, which I did, and then to call 877-277-4882, which I did. Recording told me to enter the phone number on which I received the call, which I did. I got a recording saying to remove that number from their system
I should punch it in and hit #, which I did. The recording then said to wait 24 hours for this to happen. Vamos a ver. At no time did I speak with a human being or get any indication as to who was calling or why. - rflnnreceived calls repeatedly over last three weeks from 877-277-4882 leaving messages on voice mail for someone who does not and never lived here. there is no company name on caller id. i called this number several times to remove my # from the system, but continue to get calls. when i have called this number, there is no verbal identification of the company i am calling, no actual person ever answers the phone, and there's no option to speak to someone. a legitimate business identifies themselves - whatever type of biz it may be - and gives you a working number where a live person can be reached or a message can be left. If they state on my message to call to remove your # if they've reached the wrong #, their system should acknowledge it. these deceitful practices need to stop and companies like this need to be persecuted.

- sjm| 1 replyI got a recorded message from this phone number about five minutes ago looking for an Adrian Harmer. I missed the phone number in the recorded message; but, used the one on the caller ID (877-277-4882). The EOS employee who answered the phone, Andrew, was very polite and said he would flag our phone number as being invalid on that person's account.
What I don't like, and wonder about the legality of it, is the recording states if you continue to listen to the recording they will assume you are the person they are seeking. That's just not a good assumption in these days of answering machines and people (like me) waiting to see if they'll repeat the phone number to call to get off their list (they didn't).- Caller: EOS Collection Agency

- Tiffany replies to Farmgirl3535I'm having the same problem with AT&T, which this collection agency is now calling me about! How did you get the item removed? I'm trying to do that now, and they are not being helpful...
- HereandnowI keep receiving calls at roughly the same time everyday of the week from 877 277 4882 and no one is on the other line. This is getting really aggravating and should stop!
- motherI received a call today from this number stating they were from EOSCCA, looking for someone who did not live at this address. Gave me a name of Steve Bourne (probably not real).....

- anonymousThis number keeps calling me as an unknown number, but when they leave a message, which is always 2 seconds long, their number shows up as 877-277-4882. I have not yet been able to answer when they call (the four times that they have already, one per day), but if the call is in fact about not paying bills, it would be absurd for them to call me, as I am a minor.
- lauraeveryday at least 3 times a day i get calls from this number they never say anything.it has been going on for months now.i told them i would report to police and then they hang up.it is still happening though
- John CarrI have been receiving calls from 877-277-4882 every day for the past several months. There has never anybody on the other end. I understand this number belongs to a credit collection agency. I have very good credit and owe no money. I have no idea why they keep calling. I am also on the National no call list. I don't think it works. I would like for this crap to stop.
- KH| 1 replyI have received calls from this number everyday, sometimes multiple times a day, for months now. They even call late at night. No one ever says anything, and every call they hang up on me when I answer.
What can I do to stop these calls? - MGot a call from this # just now and did not pick up. Just annoys the hell out of me though.
- JP| 1 replyIt's amazing to me that people jump through so many hoops when there is only one way to stop those calls, don't answer your phone if you don't recognize the number. It's that simple. If you pick up the phone, they know someone will answer and the calls will increase.
NEVER EVER PICK UP THE PHONE IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE CALLER ID AS SOMEONE YOU KNOW. - LS| 2 repliesAnnoying to receive calls that don't leave or show their names. An invasion of our privacy.
