877-278-5106

Same deal here - I got a pre-recorded message from this number on my answering machine, but my caller ID on my phone is from a different phone number (but same date and time as message from the recorded message) and the name: C.Jawdat in Crete, IL. Nobody answers at the 877 number. It just puts you in a message loop. I don't have any late bills and I just can't figure out what these people want. (shrug).

Tell me if this is happening to anyone else---this and other #800-type number call me between 11:00 pm and 4:00 am.  This one was 877-278-5106.  They called at midnight and did not leave a message.  

Someone on one of these other unsolicited phone chats said to log the phone number into your cell as "IGNORE" and use a special ring tone so you know to ignore the call.  I've done that, and one of the ones called me during daylight hours, allowing me to play a trick on them.  Point is, that advice was probably the only thing we could all do to mess with them the way they mess with us.  Unless anyone wants to join me in a class-action lawsuit against your cell plan carrier to get them to stop selling our phone numbers........

I started getting a call from this number a few days ago...I have a block app, so it rings once and goes to my voicemail but the automated female asking for someone by the name of Darusha(?) McCain, or something like that...definitely not me.

I've been getting called from this number for a couple months. I blocked it from the start but they keep calling and my phone keeps auto-blocking. Don't who or what, don't care.

I did the same...
I'd call them for 20 times in one day using the *67 before my cell # and said "You [***]" as Kyle from South Park, so far it's been a motnh and didn't heard from them again...

This number calls me for about a week straight always during my working hours, and never leaves a message. Then they stop for about 2-3 weeks then start calling again.I am on the DNC, and have reported them several times. I just wish they would either leave a message or stop calling me.

These people called my phone and left a message along with an account number. I called them back and they answered Credit Protection Association (CPA), they said they were a debt collection agency for Time Warner Cable.

This company keeps calling although I have asked to be removed from their calling list.  Since I unlisted my number I get the mostr calls from Credit Protection Association, have talked to Bernard, Felica, Nadine and a floor supervisor to no avail.  I will not give them additional information, they already have an erronous file.

Comcast dipwads have been trying to collect $72.00 for equipment I have proof I returned almost a year ago.  I even faxed the receipt to them.  And they have even admitted they have the equipment and apologize.  Still keep sending threatning cards.  Now they have reported me to the credit bureau.  I guess it is time to start a lawsuit.  Mabe that will get their attention

its comcast, and they call every 15 min.

Robo calls... Just pick up and not say a word. If it was a real person they would speak. Make them pay for phone time.

IVE RECEIVED CALLS FOR THE PAST WEEK AND I GET TWO OR THREE CALLS A DAY PLUS VOICEMAIL TO CALL BACK . LAUGHING WHENN THEY PICK UP AND ASKING FOR MY INFO  AND SSN . HELLL NOOOO STRAIGHT UP SCAM !!!!!! WILL REPORT THEM

says they are a credit protection agency but in fact are a debt collector for comcast cable.

we been recieving these calls for several months...........it's a scam......if it were a true collection agency they would already have all of your relevant personal info and would not be asking you to give it to them. Good rule of thumb, NEVER give things like your address, work number, SS number etc..... to a 1-800 number that you are not familiar with. And threatening to call a lawyer always seems to help,lol.

Received email with same message.  Same phone numer and company (SET) but contact name for this number is now showing as Scott Holub.
