Been getting calls from this number and also from 403-387-5750 which apparently is also Telus. My cell contract is about to expire so I'm pretty sure that's why they're bugging me.

    Bug-be-gone
I'm in the Telus post-contract stage and looking for any other provider to offer me an incentive to dump the turkeys. They didn't bother to come on the line when they called, and I waited 30 seconds prepared to lecture them not to bug me. They didn't give me the chance, so I googled the number and here I am. Glad to compare notes with others.

Just got a call on this number too.  I never pick up unknown numbers so I came online to see who it could be.  Sounds like it could be Telus (from other posts) because my phone plan is FINALLY done at the end of January!  :o)

I also got a call from this number.  They did not leave a message, which is quite annoying.  I am also a Telus customer, but I did pay my bill....hmmm....

If it's a retention call then they can eat my ass.

I'm moving over to Rogers.  I have a blackberry and Telus was never helpful in getting me upgraded to a new 8830.  They offered me a bunch of extra airtime and stuff, but I just wanted a new phone.

I'm getting a Blackberry Curve with Wi-Fi from a friend for $200 and Rogers offers the exact same plan as I'm on now plus a few extra features.

Telus really disappointed me with their willingness to give me what I want.

They wanted $300 for an 8830 plus $400 deposit because it has the ability to be used overseas.... this is what they give me after being an almost 5 year customer who has spent close to $6,000 with them.

Hmm.....I just got this number called on my cellphone TWICE today, and once right after on my home number........I am on a Rogers pay as you go, but I also have a Telus acct, which expires in June.. I just found it a bit odd that Telus would be calling me on my Rogers phone and then again at home.

This number rang my phone, didn't leave a message. So I called them back!  Turns out it's a "customer courtesy call" making sure the plan I'm on suits my needs.  The guy I was talking to didn't even try to talk me into a new phone, and thus new contract, much to my surprise!

I just got a call from these $(%#ers too! I waited for them to speak, they were calling to check on my service and how I was enjoying it - when I tried to answer I was rudely interrupted and cut off - the guy actually yelled at me and spoke overtop of me!

Looks like its time to switch back to Rogers!

I find it intresting that so many are having problems with cell phone companies.  We have sprint and when it's done it's done.  The guy that sold us the phone (at Sams Club)scammed us into buying 2 phone saying the free phones would be in stock within 3 weeks and we could exchange the phones then if we wanted the free ones.  We got nothing when we contacted the supervisor and she said there was no exchange of phones allowed.  The contract was 2 years and is a rip-off.  We simply wanted something inexpensive for our Mom and Dad (both old) in case he had a stroke while away from the house.  I don't think we'll be getting another cell phone.  Can you put the phones on the no call list?  Seems like if you have to pay for the calls coming in there should be some control given to blocking them.  I guess it's like the Credit Bureau where you lose credit points when people search your file but they give you no control over who searches your file.

This is the Loyalty and Retention division. They called to check in on my service, helped me rework my plan so I don't spend a fortune on long distance and gave me a month's free calling for being a long time customer. So, I'm thinking not all calls from this number are negative.

    Tired of Telus
Ya, they called me too. I'm tired of them calling to ask me how is their service. Let's put it this way, we just dropped telus for our Blackberry and whn my current cell phone contract runs out we'll finally be free of Telus!

MAN they're annoying, they never even let it ring, or leave a message or text or anything to tell me what it's about, although now that I know it's telus I'm pretty glad that they're not. I need another carrier. Telus sucks, but I had a good plan, from way back when, and my boyfriend got the same one, so we've got free telus to telus, and he's stuck with a 3 year plan right now.

just received a call a few mins ago from this number but when i answered it was dead silence. after reading this, i know my plan is up in August so maybe that's why they're calling. this is so annoying cuz they did the same thing from a different number at 10am.  it's like getting prank called, i wish someone would just say something!
random note, i'm not sticking with telus after this. i've been a customer with them for close to 7 years and got no perks for being loyal. rogers or kadoo here i come!
