Call it back and the message includes the phrase "this is an attempt to collect a debt"

just got a call from someone attempting to speak to someone else. He called my cell phone that has LIMITED minutes. Would NOT identify the reason for calling. Said it was personal. I told him to NEVER call my cell phone again and that I was reporting him to the attorney general, fcc, and do not call registtry.

Like many other 877 or 866 prefixed calls made to my cellphone, it's nothing but a scam.....trying to collect a debt (no debt here that needs collecting) so......I just hit Ignore, and will report it...again.... to my phone carrier to Block it in the future

They dont leave a message and they try to get more personal information from you then you should give.  I will not give any information if I have not recieved paper work on what I may owe.  This is a complete scam.

Received a call on my cell. The message stated it was Arstrat. They are a debt collection company I believe for health care. I had an outstanding bill that I had forgotten about.

This is a debt collector for Swedish Hospital. They may be contracted for other debts as well, but I know for me, that is what it was. Hopes this helps others figure it out. They are usually pretty nice if you explain your situation.

Then you won't mind posting up legal company name, verifiable street address and website, if any, will you?

Thanks for mentioning Swedish Hospital. Now I know that this is a legitimate debt that I should take care of. (By the way, have you ever been to a better ER? I know I haven't!)
