Call came in from "Anita Johnson" initially as "Private Number" -- said she was from Account Services and wanted to lower my interest rate. Gave 877-281-3050 and a Federal ID#1279. Upon further questioning said she worked for Resolution Center in Orlando Florida. Switching to supervisor and then "third party verification" who also seemed to be from the same company. When all the switching I could hear on the line, I also saw K&M Consulting 321-397-4844. Charged $899 to my card and said it would show Resolution Center. It showed Newport Equity Solutions. My credit card fraud detection unit called because of it. Now, I'm trying to put a stop to this.

    Another Scam
Caller said his name was Jon Taylor from Clear Solutions.  He said he could lower credit card  interest rates.  He was given credit card number and then charged $699 on the account.  The company keeps calling even after the account was closed.  They wanted to do a 3-way call to the bank to help lower the interest rate.  The guy changed his name to Lincoln Staples.

    This is clearly another scam.

My mother-in-law just received a call from Jimmie Ace at 877/281-3050 saying he was from Debt Management and he could lower her interest rate to 6%.  I called them back to say not to call her again, but they said she paid for their services in Feb 2008 at $990.  I checked with her and she does not remember paying for this service.  Another scam, I agree!

    Hello There,

Maybe the caller who called you mentioned debt free life, but no way on planet earth they are associated with us. We receive a lot of calls asking us if this was our number. You can go to www.debtsfreelife.com and confirm that this is not our telephone number. The calls that you are getting is either from a scam company or debtfreelife, not us. We are debtSfreelife.

    Hello All,

My apologies for posting so many posts, but I am getting more and more information as time goes by.

    Please check this link: http://www.ripoffreport.com/Credit-Debt-Services/Resolutions-Center/resolutions-center-resolution-98732.htm

Rip off says it is a company based in Florida. We are based in Denver, Colorado. I hope that clarifies everything. :)

Received an unsolicited call at 7:15PM EST in Florida on 10-22-09.  Initial message was computer generated and stated that I had a credit problem. It then gave options to press.  I elected to speak with someone about "my account."  A male with possible Hispanic accent answered.  Since I am listed with National DNC I asked for the name of his company.  He said it was "Debt Free Life" and then immediately disconnected.

I'll be honest - I'm not sure what to make of them yet.

So far, they seem legit, though they are using a bunch of names and it is quite unclear who they are exactly.

However, so far I know that I am working with a law firm whose website is http://www.MyConsumerLawGroup.com

I'll know more in a few days when they take the second draft if they are indeed legit.

I recieved a call at 7:55pm EST 01/04/10 on my cell phone. I did not come from the 877 number, rather it was different. It began as an animated recording offering to lower interest rate on my card holder account to as little as 6%. I was given option to dial 1 to speak to rep or 2 to decline. I pressed one and got an Indian sounding female who identified herself as "Jesse". She offered me the same as above. I asked if I could call back at a  better time for me and asked for a number to call. She offered to call me back but I insisted I would call her. The number she gave me to call back was 310-568-6007 ext. 4751. She said they were open 8-5 PST when I asked her for hours. She said the name of her company was "debt free life".

I just took a call from the fake Debt Free Life.  Talked to a man named Shane.  I am in the legal field so I gave him a run for his money. The number he gave me to call his supervisor is 310 568-6007.
The only reason I took the call was because I had recently filed Bankruptcy and my creditors are not allowed to collect my debt. The call was fraud from the beginning.

This company is, without a doubt, a scam. I used to work for them. That "debtsfreelife" website is a load of crap. That's the website they told us to give out. Same phone number. They use a robot somewhere in the midwest. They are supposed to tell you they're in Florida. In reality, they're either in Pakistan or China. Do not give them your personal info. I don't  know what happens after a person signs up for the program, but I know I saw enough red flags during my short time there to never recommend them to anyone I like. They also told us to say we were a non-profit organization and that we were BBB accredited. Neither of which could I verify in any way.

I just took a call from I believe is the fake Debt Free Life.  Talked to a man named Simon. I had a bad feeling about the call the whole time but I wanted to see how far they would go. He told be that he could get me 4.4% as an average interest rate on my three cc's and that all I had to do was, well nothing but join this program and give out all this personal info. I am in the legal field so I gave him a run for his money. The number he gave me to call his supervisor is 310 568-6007.I did give on my address and last four SS but I wanted to keep the call going just for a while; but when he asked for checking account info that was a sure sign. The call was fraud from the beginning. Please PEOPLE careful.
