"Karen ____________"  (unintelligible) from Client Services, St. Louis, Missouri left a message asking for "useful information" about my next door neighbor, using his full correct name.  Ext # 54955.   He's a good guy & has no idea why they'd a) be calling at all & b) calling a neighbor when his phone number is readily available. Can't they send registered letters instead of annoying the neighbors?

Good question, this company knows our unlisted phone number we just don't answer it.  They know our address, we have gotten mail from them, collection notices for both Citibank MasterCard and Visa.  We've lived in the same house and had the same phone number since 1975.

They called our neighbor and gave him this number to give us, different extension.  It must have been a funny call, this particular neighbor is from Columbia and has a very thick accent we can barely understand and the caller was probably Pakistani.  I haven't heard anything from any of the other neighbors or our relatives...yet.  My husband tries to make it a point to meet any new neighbors, visits over the back fence, sometimes gives them extra garden produce, etc.

Same call - we are on the do not call registery.  How do they know we are neighbors?   If we turn them in maybe they will quit disturbing our homelife because of our neighbors.  Call my neighbors not me if you want to collect something.

They called my neighbor and said he was a sheriff deputy and was looking for information on my ex-brother in-law.

Company called us this morning asking for our neighbor's phone number and also information about his place of business.  Did not give them any information but agreed to place a note on neighbor's door.  How did they get our phone number???  We called their number a couple of hours later to see if we could identify the company and ask someone why they called us.  Only information given was name of company -- Client Services.  Do not appreciate these types of calls -- especially since we are on the no call list!

These mofo's called my WORK! looking for me - didnt leave a clear message. just said "tell her to contact Leonard Lister at  1 877 288 0504 ext 58006. WTF? How dare you call my work!
I called the number back - some lady picked up. i asked her where i was calling  and she said "Client Services". I said of what? and she asked me what my phone # was. i told her i'm not giving out my number to a random "client services" hotline. She then said, "well, if it's important, they'll call you back"
WHAT THE HELL? SHADY!

Monica - 1-877-288-0504 x 54575 keeps calling our business looking for one of our District Managers. Keeps leaving cryptic messages like "she needs to call right away, she may not even know what's going on, so this is very important",  Seriously?!?!

For some of you other respondants posting to this page, as an historical researcher and writer, I spend a lot of time on  the internet. Not that hard to find who you are, where you live, work, kids, spouses, neighbors. Google yourself some time - alot of info out there that one does not even have to "pay for" to obtain.

Call from Corey Jordan of "Client Services" looking for one of my neighbors and requesting I take there phone number to him.  I did not.

Got a message today asking for my husband from Amy Weaver at Client Services Inc - 877-288-0504 x 58294 with no other information.  Saying its a debt collector.  We have never been contacted by an account indicating that we owe a debt and have never gotten a letter re any debt or debt collector.

Someone yesterday called me from client services asking if I knew how to get hold of my brother in law, I asked who was calling.  But the lady wouldnt tell me.  I am not sure how she got my phone number.  My brother in law has bad credit from some misfortunes.  Can it be that one of my own family member could have turned in information to this company and also gave my number?  I try asking the lady where she got my number she wouldnt tell me and instead said my phone number has been marked off.  Anyone know how these people could have gotten my number?.

I keep getting calls from 1-887-288-0504 Mike Tanner ext# 54472.
He does not really state what he wants and has been told not to call again.
After that he still calls.
I have blocked his number and have filed a complaint with the FTC.

This guy, Michael Tanner, called my cell phone number (caller name/number showed up as UNKNOWN) asking for someone else, then asked if I knew this person, which I do, and asked for a way to reach him.  I asked lots of questions, but especially how he got this number: he hemmed and hawed and finally said it was listed on some form.  BS.  The extension he gave me was X54472.

Someone named Michael Taylor called me from 800-521-3236. A message was left asking for location information. The message asked if I had the location information to call 8772880504. What depths will be sunken to next?

Someone named Justin called about a job that I applied for which is BS.

Michael Taylor again...says it's in reference to a person whose name I don't even recognize, and that it's about a debt collection.  Also says there's an option available before things get too serious.  No idea how this clown got my cell phone number.  Will I return his call...yah, right.

877-288-0504 ext 58092 called my father's office asking for my ex-wife.  Said his name was John Skaggs and he worked for Client Services.  Said it was about a "business opportunity".  She had told me that collection agents have been calling her at her home and she doesn't answer.  Now they have apparently started trying to get to her through my family members.

This number is calling my work!! A Jeff Henderson told a fellow employee that he would be in until 10 pm and to call him. So I did. A voicemail!!! When I dont know what this pertains to, why would I leave a message?!!!

I used to work for a debt collection company and they have many many ways of getting all of your family info including anyone who is deceased. 3rd party collectors have to call your entire family before they can contact you ... its annoying and its y i no longer work for that company.. i hated bothering people for people they dont even talk to . they use equifax and other services to get all the info..

Lisa Meyer from Client Services called just after 8am, looking for someone who has no connection to my number. She was sarcastically cheerful. I'm sure she will call back.

Justin Moore from Client Services 1-877-288-0504 called my job today causing the Secretary to go a little nuts.  I'm a private person but he convinced her that he had to speak to me today about a matter that couldn't wait.  Since I never discuss my personal life at work, she assumed my life was in danger. The only information that told her was that "Cleint Services" had an urgent message waiting...... I called the number and the rep transferred me to Justin.  

I have a Citi Bank card that hasn't been paid lately.....According to him, it's been about 6 months (which is a lie)  He was acting like a bully and saying he's trying to work with me.  He asked me my intentions and I informed him to never call me again at work.  He lied and said that he had tried contacting me several times via regular mail / telephone.  I told him he was mistaken because I have had the same number address and phone number for the past 8 years.  Just another debt collector......I'm counting down the time .....it will be off my credit report before you know it......
