And again - again.  :o)

I got a call from James Williams, (the name of the week?), with a Middle East accent, (another outsourced company), asking to speak to the person who makes the business decisions for our company. I told him they're never here. He kept asking and I told him once more, "the owners make those decisions and are never here in the office or in the state and I am not giving their contact info to you". I told him to send an email and I will forward the info to them.
 I never received an email from them, but I did get a call later in the day from the same place, same guy's name but a different person's voice. He was sarcastic, (which I usually like but not when I'm super busy and being harassed), and at the end of the call, made brief by me, he said, "Thank you so much kind and helpful lady", sarcastically, of course.
 This was over a week ago and every day since then we've received calls from this number only to have them hang up when we answer the phone. We were at the point where we either were not answering or we were answering and hanging up, immediately.
 I just called them back, after receiving their latest call, and demanded to have our number removed from their call list. I spoke to a very nice Middle Eastern woman who apologised for someone there calling repeatedly and hanging up. It'll take up to 72 hours to have our number removed. We'll see.

I just finished with a phone call as described by Kat above.  I did call the number back as described and found that they have different "toll free numbers they use for different states"...   I asked to be taken off ALL THEIR TOLL FREE NUMBERS.....

Solution I use:  I have the chicken toy which sings the irritating "chicken dance".  I pick up the toy (which turns it on) pick up the phone, and the two chat... I guess... can't hear over the chicken.
My telemarketer phone traffic has dropped drastically.

This is a crap world we live in.

The people at this company are more persistent than usual.  I either reject their calls or hang up on them an average of 5 times a day.  A couple of times I've said "PLEASE take me off your list" but nothing helps.  They're just bad pie.

These jaska$$es have called three times today and hang up on me every time. They are calling a business number so I have no choice but to answer. I've called back every time and asked to be put on their do not call list. This is annoying. Does anyone know of another number that you can actually speak to some at?

I get 7 calls from this number a day.
