This number belongs to Robert James and Associates.  They claim to be a debt recovery agency.  But since we have no out standing debts they could be collecting on, we suspect they may be phishing.  We are refusing to discuss anything over the phone and letting them know if they have a legitimate reason to contact us they can send the information to us by mail.

Got a call from a Matthew Collie from this number claiming to investigate a situation for Washington Mutual about fraudulant check not even associated with me but a family member that hasn't had an account with Washington Mutual in 3 years.  It was stated that the situation with the fraudulant check occured in 2009 and asking me to let my family member call them and give them their SSN over the phone.

Got  a call from this number and it was a recording saying that my name and social security number came up and I am part of some kind of class action suit. I hung up the phone.

THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS!!! LOCATED IN BUFFALO NY AND CONNECTED TO HARD CORE NEWS REPORTS/ THEY'RE ON ELLICOTT ST. THEY FIRED ME AS AN EMPLOYEE BECAUSE I REFUSED TO ROB PEOPLE!! CALL YOUR STATE ATTY GENERAL RIGHT AWAY!!
