Received check that looks similar to Treasury checks except you can tell it's not real...total $7,000 AND no checks have reservation codes on them.

Check date 12/04/07...bottom states, "This is not a negotiable instrument subject to Article 3 of the UCC".  Back indicates "Non-Negotiable * Do Not Cash".

Typing in search keywords, "Stimulus Checks?" I arrived at this site, http://www.instant-grantsearch.com/90-percent ... stimulus-check/ that appears to be a Grant program.

Haven't the foggiest idea WHO or WHAT this is about. If anyone has called, tell me what "game" awaits those who fall for such a prank.

I just receive in the mail of what you receive " Secondary stimlus Check'
I thought right away a  SCAM I called my credit union on an other matter then I told them of this Sceondary Stimlus check. They ask me for their
phone number to see if it is a Scam. It is. So if you question it to good to true then it is. The irs never call to ask personal information They already have it. Irs never call people for anything. Always check with a bank post office for to see if it is a scam. . Well you will get nothing but automated voice saying all representitive are busy please wait on the line. You wait wait no one answeres. The stimulus from the government wil send out $500 for single and $1000.00 for family. If a scam check says  $17,358,040 a red flag should raise to mean a scam. I am glad I called to verify this mail intention.
