Got the card here in Germantown, MD. I guess they thought that people would be desperate enough to call for FREE money since the economic times are so bad. Don't waste your time, rip it up or use it to decorate your birdcage...

I'm there, my thinking is that I ordered Grant Master S/W to help me look up grants. I'm trying to get my son into private school on a single dads salary. I'm just wondering if pinging the website or spending just the shipping charges for the S/W. It seems like a unusual coincidence.

L'il green card with Aug. 6, 2008 deadline. I was fortunate to have charges reversed by my bank with "The Grant Instructor (TGI)" who offered (probably) this same information for $1.95 for instant access; TGI tried to take $50.99 from my account after I looked up several other sites that claimed they were a legitimate organization. They are sophisticated, well funded (by desperate people looking for opportunities/situations to help them) and evil (may they repent their ways). They also have a rewards club from Nevada that will call incessantly and try to burden their targets even more. I have reported them to the FCC, and hope people with elderly involved stand up and take action by reporting them. There must be a ton of money to be this deceptive/deceitful, so it takes a grass roots action to repel these types of leeches. We don't need more rules to limit the freedoms we have, but we must stand up for our rights or become fodder for scam artists looking to prey and devour who they may.

Got the green post card. I'd like to know how they got my name and mailing address in the first place. The phone number on it was 877-303-3788.

If the GOVERNMENT were trying to give me money, they wouldn't put a private "Official Form Number" on the POSTCARD for the world to see. This is the worst scam ever.

I received this green card with the promise of the $25,000 grant on August 4, 2008. Figuring it was a scam I plugged the phone number into Yahoo and came up here. The postmark now is from zip code 66071 (Paola, KS) Permit #20. Down at the bottom it's marked *Official Form Number: ASI8234-2008. Probably a combination of the perps initials and birthdate or some such ...

As said many times in this thread, this is definitely a scam, I've tried to apply for legitimate grants and you're not going to get something like this informing you have one waiting. They just want an excuse for you to send them some money. Evidently they move around a lot, or it's a pyramid thing, seeing how the zip codes are so scattered.

Bahstahds! I needz money. Grants are hard to get imo. You have to write proposals + other written info. and have a legitimate need for them. I wish I could get a pell grant every month just for learnin' stuff on my own.

I got a green card in the mail... Very upset about it. I am in a situation where, I could really use some money.  I work a few jobs, and is out most of the day working, but the problem is, I am not making enough, especially since I have to drive around a lot.  I have Bills on top of bills, and not enough money to pay them. I have rent due and utilities due, but no money to pay them.  What am I supposed to do, or feel when I see this green card. Something to trick and deceive me in to thinking of something hopefull, but like someone said already, if you have to pay for it, it is not free, and goverment grants do not charge you a fee to get one, and it doesn't come easy to just have one.  I am still working hard to pay my bills and handle my business. I pray something will come through for me one day.  I sure would love to catch the one or ones who is making this much harder for me now.  If there is something I could do to bring justice to this situation... I would. I wouldn't even mind winning money for putting these people away who is sending these fakeys' out, but I will be patient and hope and have faith for the best.  Thanks for all who read and listened to this message in response to the green card, and all the other scams out there in the world. May justice be served.

Juan

Juan, My prayers go out to you... While all things in this world are only temporary, though you may lose much, just like Job, your faith in God will set you free. He will reward you with treasures in heaven for your integrity and faith in Him. Always remember, it is good to pray, to read His word and to ask the Lord for help... But, you must believe... No matter what... Let God take care of it.

We all seem to realize the same thing. I received a green card yesterday with a deadline notice of August 27th guaranteeing me $25,000 in grant monies. I have been previously searching for grant opportunities but never submitted a bid for one. I know the process for grant money. The government does not extend grants to individuals without a long list of things being true: atleast one being linked with several agencies cooperating with you. I too entered the alpha-numeric ASI8234-2008. I was surprised and pleased to find that we all could have been food for sharks. I even entered the zip code first discovered Paola,Kansas. Well, thank you all for confirming my suspicions. I have no phone number to which to link this.
