called saying my wife owed money for a payday loan... called them, they couldnt give me my wifes social ,birthday, or where the loan originated from... got into it with a guy named tim.. he tried to say i was gonna be sued and have to pay for attorney fees and court cost... what a load of crap, considering my wife and i always pay our bills... never have we had to resort to a payday loan!!!! this company needs to be investigated and people such as tim need to do a stint in prison for scamming people!!!!

I had the exact same phone call! Was it legitimate or not? I talked to Tim and everything too, said I was getting sued for the same thing.

These guys call me up at like 10:00 am looking for a woman. I told them KINDLY that they had the wrong number. told them my name and the guy responds "do you normally act like this on the phone?" I said  no I just woke up then he calls me a [***]. and immediately hangs up. I call back and a different man answers. I told him what was going on  a lil bit aggravated. Then I was put on hld to find out who did what and the douche that called me in the first place tells me that I have no job (in which case i do) and that what I was doing was harassment. NO. He called me with a wrong number and called me a [***]. I feel that he had harassed me. i was just calling to find out wtf was going on and why some [***] was being so flipping rude to me on the phone. Just don't answer this phone number, these guys will harass you if you do. Rude ass people when i just wake up in the morning piss me off....

these people keep callingleaving threat messages my job phone saying if i dont call them they will take further actions and does anyone no my where abouts and good luck.these people are scaring the hell out of me they really really need to stop

Just ignore it. I've had similar calls. Nothing was done.

called and asked for Howel Youllady, and I didnt reply, then realized they wanted to me to say, Howel Youllady who?  So not funny!

called me 2 times in 15 minutes...no messages yet, but i'm really not in the mood today and will let any creditor, collector, or solicitor have it.  ugh!!!!!!

Sounded like someone from the inner city called me, with marbles in his mouth,speed talking, sounded like, "this be blah blah, action needed tomorrow,  needs to be calling me immediately,mines number be  9???????"

Called saying that I had got myself in some big trouble. Something about a bad check. I don't even write checks. Nor do I have a check book. Then said criminal charges were being placed on me for an old payday loan & that they were hired to collect money. Wanted me to send them money through moneygram.

called a friends work phone looking for me  saying they where going to sue me if i didnt send a payment or set up a pay plan.i told him send me somthing in writing confirming i owe he told me i was in big trouble and should get a lawyer. (now i am not stupid first off debt is not a criminal matter its a civil matter) dont give these people any info they also said at first i wrote a check then changed and said loan. these guys are breaking the law and should be put out of buisness and locked up (people dont be afraid if they keep harrassing you call your states attorney office or consumer protection dept.

I got a call from a guy name Stu. He asked about this certain gentleman and I told that I do not know this person and then he told me my name. (in which shocked me), I acknowledged and then he hang up. I called back to wonder who called me as a courtesy. And the guy was just plain RUDE. and demanded that I never call him again.

The keep calling me asking for frigging Betty tatum?   I told him not to call again because I'm not her!  & he's like ' you don't know who your talking to,  and ypu don't tell me what to do,' So I hung up!!!

I received a call from Mike Peters, they will not call me directly they have been calling my friends.  When I contact them directly and attempt to give them my lawyers number so they can settle this, they said Oh hell No and hang up on me

These people KEEP calling for a Iva, I am NOT Iva!

I tell them this is not her, but they KEEP calling. Today I call them back to have my number removed. The guy with the jerk tone says "do you know this person?" I say no and he hangs up on me. I call back...still wanting to simply tell someone to remove my number and the same guy answers. I say "I just called and uh...spoke to you" Bam... the jerk hangs up on me again.

They are the ones harrassing people and they REFUSE to remove my number.

got a meesage last month (i just checked messages today) and she said her name was London something or another.  She didn't tell me where she was calling from but told me that if I didn't call back to give her MY SIDE OF THE STORY that further action would be taken and she would show up at my office with the authorities or at my place of residence...and that i needed to save myself the embarassment.  quite naturally, she doesn't know me, but if she did know me, she would surely know that an empty threat is not the way to get me to do anything...valid or not.  i double-dog dare them to show up at my office with some toy cop officials - i guarantee that the REAL police who guard our office will be more than happy to haul their happy [***] smooth off.  i invite them to review the FDCPA and all other rules, laws, ordinances governing "fraudulent" acts before calling me again because the next time, i just might answer...

Recieved a message on answering machine looking for my son-in-laws estranged father... very strange.

i have been receiving calls for a craig/greg jenkins. i get approx 3-5 calls on my work issued cell a week. when i've called back to advise that the person they are looking for is not on my work cell, i get hung up on.  after some investigating, i've found another number to call. the following number is the corporate hq for this H&P Capital: 1-800-837-0371. i spoke to a 'ben' advising that the personnel at H&P are very rude and unprofessional and if my number is not removed from their calling list, further legal action would occur.

Received a message that faded in and out saying that a case jnder my name had been placed in their office and that they had "come to a decision," and that if I wanted to have any say in my future I should call back and talk to Ray Buchannon.  A lot of noise in the background of people talking and laughing...a real professional office atmosphere it sounded like (yeah, right), and the caller was hard to understand due to the quality of the call.  But he made it sound like my very existence relied upon my returning a phone to him immediately.  I think I'll wait to see what happens to me!  What a joke, and these people intimidate and attempt to frighten consumers who aren't knowledgeable about their rights.  Education for All!!!!!!!

they did the same ting to me, so i took it a step further, after all the rude comments and them calling back just to hang up and harrase me at work, i desided to call them over and over again, they will not give you an adress or fax number nor will they fax you any info, just want your personal info. i found there fax number online and faxed them all thier information back, about the 100th call back to them, threatening me about harrasment, they said they would no longer call me if i stopped harrasing them.. touche lol i thing everyone should repeat call them and fax them unwanted info they dont need. just so they know how we feel with all of thier false threats. here is there fax. fax number for HPC.(904 418 5051) 3.
