CACI Debt Collectors

They called my neighbor and asked for me, left their number for me to return their call but didn't leave company name.  When I returned their call, they would not identify their company, asked for me to give them my information first, and were rude saying I was out to waste their time by my calling and not wanting to give them my name, number, etc.

I keep getting messages on my phone for a Alan Dulin to return a call to this number.  I have called this number twice to inform them that there is no Alan Dulin at this phone number and there is no association.  I would appreciate it if my name and number is removed from this listing.

I am not related to this person, and I would like for the calls to stop -- PLEASE.

I had a person call looking for family member and refused to give me any detail except this phone number and company reluctantly. He gave his name as Brian and I question him because he made himself seem like a friend. He did not anounce he was from a collection agency which I believe is law.

Again he reluctantly gave me his CACI which I googled and now know is a collection agency and which he should of said upfront, instead of trying to claim he was a friend of this family member.

By law, if that man was working as a skip tracer or other type of collecter under a private investigative license issued by the state, then no, he doesn't have to tell you anything.

I received a call from a person named Allison from CACI, who asked if I was a relative of the person she was trying to reach and if I could pass along a message.  The message was to call 877-312-2112 and it was regarding personal business.

A Brain Called for me. As always i tell bill collecters i moved to africa to will with whales. He then told me he was a close friend of mine who had some stuff from collage. He needed to get in touch with me really bad. Then left 1-877-312-2112 to call him back. When i returned the called back it was a differnt person who refused to tell me who they were until i gave them my information.

Received a call from Bob Vitale at 877-312-2112 asking for my husband.  He asked if I was his wife and for my name.  I refused to give my name and he said he couldn't tell me anything about the call.  I told him we didn't owe anyone money (we are current on all accounts) and we will not be calling back.  His threat was "that's unfortunate because I'll have to move on the next step" - my response, "bring it on - do what you need to do" because he has nothing more than a name and phone number and he won't be getting anything else.  If in doubt, check your own credit at annualcreditreport.com - if all is OK, don't respond to these frauds.

If they are bill collectors they would be prevented by Federal Law (FDCPA) in telling you so unless you are the consumer, consumer's spouse, Power of Attorney, or the consumers actual attorney.

wouldn't it be easier to pay back what you owe.  this is why  rates nowadays are so high.  people like you do not pay there bills and instead hide  and lie.

Maybe he has old debt that he didn't tell you about? Wouldn't it have been easier to have given him your name to find out what he was calling about instead of tossing your hubby under the bus?

I just got a call from my Grandmother, she lives in Boston.  I live in Denver and have not ever lived with her.  And she has never cosigned anything for me.  Very weird, that this number 877-312-2112 called her looking for me.

I don't think that is right.  If you google my name it comes up on Linkedin with my email address, and I also own property.  It is not hard to find me.

Called asking for someone who does not live here. I responded that a person with that name was my husband's late grandfather. Said our name was listed as a family contact. What a crock!! My husband's grandfather has been dead for nearly 20 years. He proceeded to prod me about what his middle initial was!! Are you kidding?? The man has been dead since my husband was 10, there is no possible way he ever gave them this phone number as a reference. These people are pathetic. I'm sure they called every person with our last name in the phone book telling them they were a family contact for someone with the same name as my husband's late grandfather. But to go so far as to pretend to need to verify details?? Come on, it's obviously the wrong person.

A message from a "Tony Becker" was left on our machine, no company name given.  He said I was listed as a possible family contact for someone and needed to talk to one of us immediately. I was sure it was a legitimate call because after all this relative he was looking for doesn't have the same last name as myself, or live in the same state as myself, so it would have to be a real call... boy was I wrong!  I guess they checked public records for this connection between us??  I never called the number back... instead, I googled the phone number - 1-877-312-2112 and found this to be a fraud.  I proceeded to call my brother, thinking he might get a call next.  He said he already did get a call and they used the same tactics on him... luckily my brother was smart, too, and did not give any information to this "Tony" guy.

Person called from phone number 877-312-2112 and said he was attempting to get back with a family member regarding a job application. When I asked for details he said that the person he was trying to reach had their mailbox full on their voice mail and he urgently needed to get hold of them about this application. When I inquired about more information, he said his name was Chris from CACI. I said that I would forward his number to this person...have obviously now found out that this is some type of collection service. The same voice has left numerous phone messages all relating to: call me about the job. The family member he was trying to locate lives in another state.

Came in to a message on my work phone from a person saying if this is not "..." please hang up. If this is "..." please call me back, my name is Britney Coffee and I am a debt collector, attempting to collect a debt. WHY am I getting such a call at work???!!!

I got a phone call today and the caller asked if he had reached my husband, he said my husband's name and then went on to say he was looking for Curtis M. (he said the person's last name).  I told him I didn't know that person and he then rattled off some address and said this person lived close to me.  I told him I didn't have a clue who it was, he then restated that the guy lived close to me.  I said I didn't know the person or the address and he asked if I could go to his address and ask him to call the caller back!  I did take the caller's number, 877-312-2112, and his name, which he told me was Norm Beck.  I decided to look up the number in the reverse directory and found all these complaints!  It's bad enough when I get calls for distant relatives that have collection agencies calling, but it is really annoying to get calls for people I don't even know!
